He could have gotten down and scrambled around killing...

Plus...another clue tonight points to Cal...

After the gun goes off, there is a close up of a metal plate on the gun that reads:

Made for the Candlewick Inn Mayfair, London

Plus, candlewick may be a clue...all those candles on John Wakefield's grave.

In the conversation with Richard, didn't Cal admit that the British accent wasn't real? That's what my husband and I thought was said. But I may have to re-watch it OnDemand. He said something about going to Cambridge, being a doctor, etc, and then Richard said something along the lines of "hopefully she doesn't meet someone who is really British." I don't think Cal is the killer but I think he has something to hide still.

I am now off the sheriff being the killer after the episode tonight but that could also be a red herring.

Now ONLY because I have a prior prejudice to the blonde actor because he played the creepy "Derrick" stalker of Peyton on One Tree Hill, I wonder if he is the killer....would never be able to watch another show with him in it without automatically suspecting him of something devious. Of course, it looks like something happens to him in the next episode so that could be over in the next episode haha.

Re: Harper's Island

Jimmy is one of my favorite characters, but I'm starting to think he's the killer.

He's a nice guy and so far, he isn't featured a lot. He wasn't in this episode at all. But I can't decide whether that point to him being the killer or away from him.

And I don't know what his motive would be. But then again, what would anyone's motive be? It has to be some connection to Wakefield. Either he really didn't die. Or the killer is a relative or someone who heard about the murders and became obsessed with him.

Re: Harper's Island

Shane - I can't stand him! Even if he turns out not to be the killer he's still a psychopath. The way he strung JD up was very disturbing, I don't care what his reasons were. Plus he beat on Kelly too. If he's not the killer I really want to see him die painfully .

liz_momof2 I think what Cal said was I hope she doesn't meet a cooler British person and the other guy said "or any British person" and I think he meant that Cal is so uncool that any other British guy she might meet would be a better choice.

I did catch the London label on the rigged up contraption that shot Hunter. I wonder if the killer might be trying to set Cal up? But it could be Cal. Heck it could be anyone. I haven't even ruled out the bride, groom, or Abby.

I wonder if someone is walking around with a split personality and their "other" personality, who has been traumatized in some way, is the one doing it.

Anyway, last night's episode wasn't as exciting as the first two but I guess they can't all be as intense.

Kelly with red ink in her eyes was creepy. Didn't Abby ask Shane if he gave Kelly her tattoos? So is he a tattoo artist? And if so, he would have access to ink and needles. Hmmmm.

I don't think Jimmy is the killer either, but if he were, a motive might be:

Set up a dangerous killing spree on the island, the save Abby as if he were a hero to try to get her back.

Excellent point about the ink. But it might be someone trying to frame Shane.

Lucy........ everyone seems to forget her name, but we all remember Chloe.

I don't think Cal is the killer since he was strung up all day while Lucy and Kelly were being killed. I would love for Shane to either be killed off soon, or to be the killer, because I dislike the character sooooo much!

Re: Harper's Island

Who was the girl who was immolated by fire on last week's episode? I thought it was the one who was married to the English guy. Am I mistaken?
Thanks

Re: Harper's Island

It was the dog owner. She went looking for the dog and fell into the trap.
