exactly - she was picking her classes, so I assumed she was accepted since she's starting in Jan.

I can't remember her original choice but it wasn't Stanford and she changed her mind when Ashley got accepted.

as for the epi I wasn't impressed, the idea that a cop was a superhero and someone could be split in two like that seemed OTT. I know this show usually is, but it seemed like a stretch to lighten the mood from last week's dark epi.

I still think we will see Alexis and her g/mother...I thought the episode was full of quick wit, sarcastic, smart A$$ed snarkiness I have come to love about this show

oh absolutely that dialogue was spot on, it always is, it was the premise of the comic book hero that I had a hard time with.

I'm sure we'll still have Alexis and Martha regardless if A goes to Stanford or not.

I loved the look on dad's face when she told them they'd be living together. These are the scenes that really make Castle for me.

I won't be surprised if Alexis and Ashley break up and she ends up at Columbia instead. They've established that she's a very smart girl and an excellent student, so the acceptance to Stanford didn't surprise me. I haven't heard anything about the actress leaving the show though. :shrug I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Loved the episode. It's always fun to see Rick and Kate discover how many common interests they share, this time a love of comic books. As for Alexis, if she does go to Stanford, we can easily see her interact with Rick and her grandmother via computer. They are also well off enough for any of them to hop on a plane for visits. If Ashley and Alexis break up, she could still, of course, go to Stanford. But, I'd love to see her go to Columbia in NYC, however, since that's where my son went to school. Rick's family life is a big part of the show. I don't see that changing and will be disappointed if it does.

I don't know how far ahead they tape these shows, but maybe Molly Quinn is going to college herself and taking a break, or making even fewer appearances.

Last night's episode was a really enjoyable one for me. Maybe it's just me, but I thought the series was beginning to get a little stale. The acting last night - especially Ryan - brought me back as a total fan. It was a little less comedic which was nice for a change. Now I'm really looking forward to next week!
