I agree with you all on the family dynamics on this show--just so positive--his pride in his daughter, their love for crazy grandma/mother... and except for her tension about her mother's death Beckett fits very well into their circle. There's nothing about the grandmother trying to sabotage their relationship, etc. Plus the work dynamics of the inner group are also very positive. It makes it a pleasure to watch, it's so well done--positive without being gooey.
