My daughter also noticed Sara's "pudge".

I think I saw a bit on FoxNews last night about Sara - that she had checked herself into rehab for an alcohol addiction ....

I just saw that as I was passing by the tv, and am not at all sure I heard it right. Perhaps someone else can verify.

Anyway - maybe sara is leaving the show??

I saw the pudge too and thought the same thing about her being preggers. Bumpkin, you mean the actress checker herself in rehab? If so, she could be out in 30 days or so... in time for filming next seasons shows.

I just went back to try to find a news article ... and I was completely off base. Now, my memory tells me that I heard the news report while they showed clips of Jorja Fox from CSI.

But it was Kim Delaney who checked into rehab. (article clipped below).

NEW YORK — More than a year after she was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, Kim Delaney has entered rehabilitation for alcohol addiction, her publicist said.

The actress went into an Arizona treatment program in late April, People magazine reported in its May 19 issue. It's unknown how long she'll stay.

"Due to a stressful year, Kim made the decision to enter a program at Sierra Tucson," said her spokeswoman, Robin Baum.

Delaney, 41, was arrested in January 2002 after she was seen driving erratically on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, Calif. She later pleaded no contest to reckless driving and was sentenced to probation and a safe-driving course.

In November, Delaney was asked to leave the CBS drama CSI: Miami after just 10 episodes because "the character of Megan Donner was becoming less integral to the series," the network said.

She won a best-supporting actress Emmy in 1997 for her portrayal of police Detective Diane Russell on ABC's NYPD Blue.

I had read that she was released cause she wasn't able to make her character believable. Guess that was the reason behind her bad acting on the show.

I had also noticed sara sidles stomach. I thought maybe the actress could be pregnant in real life, but maybe it will tie into the story line somehow. I think that Sara will be the one to die on the finale, and it will effect grissom very hard.

I had noticed Sara's little bulge the previous week also. I definitely think she's pg.

Also, maybe I'm alone, but I have never felt any sort of chemistry between Grissom and Sara.
