as far as spoiler #1 (i love that chick btw); and this gives credence to my theory in my previous post about replaying season one
Dogg, that character did not appear until Season 2. The first appearance was early in season 2 and the second was in the latter part of the season.

That's not to say your theory is wrong, although it's not my theory, but I just finished rewatching season 1 and the character is not there.

I still am not even 100% convinced that *Bob* and Smokey are the same... If this is the case that would mean Christian that we've seen visit Jack in the hospital, visit Michael on the freighter was all Smokey

I don't know, there are a bunch of problems with the story and i am confusing myself

Yes, it is confusing.......... but I have read that Damon/Carlton said

Cerberus is DHARMA's name for the Monster. The Monster will be explained, but not until the end of the show.
Also, per Dark UFO (pretty accurate) "Lost Spoilers" ........in the fourth episode entitled "The Substitute" (Locke-centric), we will learn that there is a connection between the smoke monster and "man in black" AKA "Bob" to you.

Who knows? I am looking forward to seeing all these people again!!!! Even though it will be the last season.

was referring to LOST hitting the reset switch in general

of course they'll incorporate new characters and change outcomes

Thanks, Dogg! Sounds vaguely familiar.... Time to wrap this show up before I completely lose track!

Yes, she was Locke's true love....... on Lost.

I know they won't be able to wrap up every storyline, but it looks like all the plots hanging in the air that we have been discussing will be reconciled before the end of the season.

Michael (Harold Perrineau) will also be back

Harold Perrineau Sets the Record Straight on Whether He'll Return to Lost - E! Online

You gotta love a man who likes to clear the air.

Harold Perrineau just rang up to kindly reveal an answer to our blind item—"Guess Who's Not Returning to Lost?"—which outed a former Lost star as a holdout to return for the final season.

    It's not him.

Despite everyone and their mother's brother's lover (even the Los Angeles Times!) assuming Harold (Michael) was the Lost holdout, Harold reveals that he has not turned down an offer to return to the show.

You must not read spoiler tags much ..... I am wondering if Libby will be back? How about Walt? He is a very big boy now, so unless they have already filmed him in the past (as part of a future ending episode), I would assume that we won't be seeing him.

Earlier this week there was a big debate about one character not returning for Season 6 and it seems like Mira Furlan aka Rousseau has turned down the request to return.

Oh, that's a shame, if true. I loved that character as well as another played by the same actor on a different sci-fi show.

I'm pretty sure I can post this, if not, so sorry!

Popcandy from USA Today had a Q&A w/ Damon Lindelof. There was lots of info, nothing particularly spoilery, but if you want to go into the season knowing nothing, I would stay away.

Oh no, according to the interview above, they may need a new time for LOST. If they add one more show to the Thursday schedule I may have to kill someone....
