By the way, as far as Emergency goes. One of the Dr.'s on the show was played by Bobby Troup, who had gained fame & is still remembered as the guy that wrote the often recorded song Route 66.

That was the best season finale I have ever seen; it just left me wanting more, more, more.

It was a marvelous season finale. What I really appreciated is that when it was written, they were not certain of a 2nd season pickup and they gave us what could be interpreted as closure, but left an opening for the return that happily is coming.

Ok, that explains it. When I saw it I commented to my husband that they could go on or end the show. I was hoping that what I had heard was correct. (That the show was renewed)

Their will definitely be a second season of Leverage. TNT announced the renewal on February 9th:

    Second Second Season For Leverage!

In the category of best news we’ve heard all day, Leverage has received a second season pickup! TNT announced today that it has renewed the show for a 15 episode run, which will begin this year. That is two more episodes than TNT ordered for season one.

Me, too! Me, too! I'm also waiting to get my hands on the Season 1 DVD to rewatch it. I'm still doing that with Tim Hutton's Nero Wolfe series.
