Is anyone else watching? I actually really like this show, a lot more than I expected to. It's another one with horrible ratings though, so I don't know how much longer it'll last.

They can only blame their ads. They presented a male star who apparently walked straight out of one of those idiotic "humor" shows for men, who's got a hostile relationship with his apparently much smarter ex-wife, and some kids caught in the middle. Yeah, looks like a ball of laughs. Never gave it a look.
I guess the ads did portray something completely different than what the show actually is. It's a lot funnier than I expected it to be, but I can't see it lasting.
That's really a shame it is good...and not like the ads. Dumb of them. People attracted by those ads won't keep watching, and others, like me, will never give it a chance (have so many "must see" shows now I"m always looking for reasons NOT to pick up a new one!).![]()
It is a very enjoyable show. Luckily, I don't watch anything else on Wednesday nights regularly.
I'm surprised the ratings aren't better. I think it is a REALLY funny show. Jay is great and think the other roles were casted well too!
I watched the first episode and was so turned off by the nastiness of the exwife that I haven't watched it since.
I watched for Jay Mohr. I enjoy the show a lot - the ex wife can be nasty, but they've also softened her a bit since the premiere. I've always given the first show a pass of sorts, since there's always quirky little bugs to work out (I hated Friends when it first debuted).
I liken the show to what 2.5 Men would be if it centered on Alan and his ex-wife.

Believe nothing that you hear and only half of what you see. :nono
This show is so juvenille... and it's so frikkin funny. It's a guilty pleasure. Jay's one-liners are hilarious... "you lost your llama" (Ed Bagley Jr. walking past the window outside) from the other night has me laughing even now.

I love this show too! Jay is hilarious and the actor that plays his son - his timing is brilliant!
