    Crusoe

I reckon I must be the only one that saw the premier of this show eh? Anyhow, it is unique to Prime Time. It is supposed to last only 13 episodes & follow the premise of the book. I liked it, I just hope that they give it the full run.

It was fairly entertaining last evening. Pretty good characters. Hope the island doesn't run out of goats, LOL.

I looked in on it now and then and caught that line--good one!

I didn't realize it was a series, just thought it was a movie. My SO actually got kind of interested, which is rare, but I was determined to catch up on tapes!

    Re: Crusoe

I watched it with mixed feelings. I thought the actors playing Crusoe and Friday were very good, especially Friday. I just think the pilot was too long at two hours. I got a feeling of the same thing over and over again, as if they were trying for an Indy Jones type of problem solving, but it did start to get old. I will give it another shot and will hope that the episodes are shorter and the script a little tighter next time.

Interesting concept. I know that in England they do more series TV this way and I think it is not that bad an idea, especially for some of the shows we have on the air that have a limited story and would do better as a 20 or 30 episodic run show then trying to drag on and on for yrs wallowing around. If this show is only going to be 13 episodes I am willing to invest the time and effort.

I have it on my DVR set to watch when I get the chance. I will admit that the previews had my interest piqued more after finding out it was a series and not a mini series. I was also excited to see Mia Maestro back on tv. I have missed her since "Alias".

I wasn't really sure what I thought of it, but I definitely didn't see it running a long time and I'm glad that it's only supposed to be 13ish episodes. That increases the likelihood I'll keep watching.
