    Re: Sons of Anarchy

OMG, how much do I loathe Tara right now???!!

The Venus stuff had me both roaring in laughter (him turning into trigger-happy Vincent momentarily and then back to Venus ), but also very touched at the same time. S/he had to endure a miserable horrible childhood and wanted to save his son from suffering the same. His mother Alice was a despicable woman and deserved EXACTLY what Jax gave her. Six feet under is just the place for her. Child molestation and producing child porn??? Hmmph! As for violence against women...pfft, whatever. Women don't get passes for doing bad thing just because they're women. When they do bad things they deserve to be punished just as a man would be punished. Period. There's the hot place down under for Alice and Jax saw to it that she was sent there sooner rather than later. And for that I applaud him.

Very good episode tonight. I can only hope that Jax figures out this mess with Tara and how he's being played. I still don't know if Wendy is playing Tara, or playing Gemma, or playing them both???

Love this show and that we feel so passionate about the characters.

The Emmy's hosted a SOA panel discussion last night (by video stream) with the writer, producer and some of the cast and provided a lot of insight to the characters and story arcs. No spoilers per se, but some assurances regarding a few characters. Several items shared about last week's episode is that Adrienne Barbeau walked onto the set in full Alice character which obviously enhanced the dramatic setting. On a funnier note, they admitted that Walter Goggin had problems keeping his fake breasts from slipping down his chest due to the heat and had to stop to reattach parts during filming.

What an episode! I admit I missed Venus Is this two weeks in a row we've had no Clay at all? Things are so tangled and convoluted that everytime I think "day-um where's this goin next?", well, we take a turn I hadn't really anticipated. LOVING THIS.

Felt so bad for Jax at the end.

What do we think will be the next we see of Wendy?

This show is always filled with twists and turns -- expect the unexpected. Poor Jax, he has a heavy heart about Tara and the MC. That ending was so sad and heartbreaking -- his pleading to get back to where they were and Tara knowing what she had already done that would drive him away. I like it when they bring Jax's family back into the story because it grounds him. In this case, his handling of the hit and run driver, who was a Father of one of the killed school kids, Jax could relate to the loss of a child, and showed compassion for the man.

I think Wendy stopped herself before she plunged the needle. Wendy would serve herself well by leaving Charming and staying away from the Teller family for her own sanity.

5 shows to go -- lots can happen before the season ends.

Awesome episode as usual. What a mess Tara has created. Now even her lawyer seems to be uncertain about things with her.

I missed Venus this week too. I wish Walton Goggins would become a regular member of this show.

Watched an interview on Youtube with Kurt Sutter, Katie Sagal, Maggie Siff and the actor who plays Unser. And Kurt mentioned that the school shooting wasn't just for gratuitous purposes. He mentioned that it's going to have an effect on different characters throughout the season. And judging by this week's episode, I can see what he means.

I either watched the interview there or I it was one with just him and from what I got from that is that the shooting sets a lot of characters on a trajectory that will take them to the end of the series with decisions and what not. From what I understood he caught a lot of flack about it. I've been enjoying reading the episode recaps of season 6 online. Watched season 5 finally as that came out on Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Incredible episode last night, one of the best. Brilliant writing and acting, especially Charlie. Maggie has an angelic voice! Clay was the funniest he has been on the show.

I am sad for Jax and Tara and that their loving relationship has turned into this horrendous mess -- I am rooting for their fairy tale but that may be moot. I know Tara took desperate measures which backfired, but Jax really has been preoccupied with the MC. Too bad he didn't try to have "the talk" with her before she took action. Well, she certainly has his attention now.

From the previews, Thomas goes missing -- do you think Gemma takes him?

Jax has to know that the lawyer would call Tara and warn her. I wonder what he has up his sleeve. Great episode!

I love the devotion between Nero & Gemma. The way they have each other's backs is beautiful. It looks like they are the more likely (or unlikely) fairy-tale couple.

Lots of great moments. Clay's sermon was priceless. Though I don't quite see how this is all going to help break him out? Gemma hiding behind the door to confront Margaret - hah, the look on her face. Now to just wait to see how Jax & Tara will play out.
