Sons of Anarchy

REf. the comment upthread about Jax and Tara getting married. I was watching with people talking and may have missed it, but did they ever sign the paperwork that they were instructed MUST be signed after the ceremony, before things got hectic? Just curious. You never know with legal technicalities and all.

OMG, that's horrible! I remember as the actor who played Half-sack in season one. Geez...wow...how awful. And yes, he was so young. :(

I avoided this thread until I'd seen the show last night. Broke my heart to see Opie go. Even though I knew it was coming, it was shocking.

The stuff about Johnny Lewis? Since I live here in LA, this started off as a local story... very high profile from the initial police reports after the first responders arrived. Half-Sack was one of my favorite characters. Opie was probably my second favorite (after Jax, of course). I trust Kurt Sutter and where he is taking this story. I still hated to see Opie go.

I get the feeling there's a LOT we will find out about Nero Padilla... and I think there's something very bad coming for the club because of him.

Yeah, Gemma's really in a bad place. Siccing Wendy on Tara? Uncharacteristically bad move for Gemma. Usually she thinks a few steps ahead and has her end-game clearly laid out. The fact she tripped up like this shows how messed up her thinking is right now.

I can't get that scene with Tig and Pope out of my head. Just gut-wrenching. I rarely cry when watching this show, but that totally got me. It wasn't because Dawn was a beloved character - it was because Kim Coates was just incredible. I'm a few weeks late reporting my thoughts on the season so far. But oh dear GOd...how gut-wrenching was that whole thing with Tig and his daughter. I cried like a baby watching that. I can still hear both their haunting screams are still in my head. This show is so gritty and so raw, I am thankful it's not on NBC, ABC or CBS, for surely it would have been watered down to death. Hell, who am I kidding, it would have been cancelled long before now. I love how Kurt Sutter just "goes"' there.

Opie's death scene...again, tears...couldn't help myself hearing Jax and Chibbs wailing like that.

And oh yes, I loves me some Nero...didn't know how Smits' character would work on this show but so far I am loving it as well as the dynamic between him and Gemma. Good stuff! I love the gray in Smits' beard. WOWSA!

God, that wake was brutal. I was bawling. As each person found out about him, I'd lose it again. Absolutely heartbreaking.

So if the Ashley Tisdale character didn't rat out Nero's brothel, who did? Clay?

I thought maybe the Madam herself. Something about her, just seems like she has a lot of ulterior motives.
I'm glad to see that they are bringing back the Cara Cara girls to consolidate into the escort service. Kristen Renton is one of my favorite actresses.

Another amazing episode. The whole Opie wake / funeral thing was gut-wrenching to say the least.
