And I didn't get to see it - can't believe it! Will have to go find a site to watch it on.

    It was gooooood

Personally I find these humane mouse traps rather ineffective. Better to lay down some glue and when you hear the critter scream you take a shovel to his head.

    Re: Sons of Anarchy

I saw most of the show last night. I recorded it though and will watch the 20 minutes I missed tonight. It was on for 90 minutes. Is that normal?

I have a few questions. I guess I should have watched the last few episodes from last season. My memory is fuzzy.
Who was the guy that they gave the razor blade in prison and why?
Did they give him the weapon later when he was in the medical unit to finish himself off or to hurt someone else?

Please explain the letters that Tara found. I think I knew at one time, but I can't recall now. She found them and is keeping them secret. Why?

Can't wait to watch the season premiere...still can't believe I missed it!

Debb: Tara found the letters at the end of season three - they are Jax' father's (John Teller) letters.

    Re: Sons of Anarchy

I saw the entire show last night. Okay, I understand a little about the letters, but please tell me why they are secret and why Tara has them and not Jax' mom. I recall last season it ending with the letters, but didn't understand exactly what happened.

They threw the bodies of the dead guys into the new construction site. What about the one that Jax stabbed? Certainly with all that force some of Jax' DNA would have come off on that guy's clothes or body in that violent struggle. Will LE find it? Too risky IMO.

Why did the guy in prison kill that guy by driving a knife into his brain? Man that was tough to watch. Sooooooo painful looking.

It looks like there are off to a good start this season.

    Re: Sons of Anarchy

If I recall correctly, Tara found the letters while going through some of Jax' stuff. Can't remember why she's keeping them a secret, though.

Can anyone else give us the lowdown on this?

I believe the letters are from the lady in Ireland as well as letters from Jax's father. The woman in Ireland had the girl and she is Jax's sister. I'm not sure Jemma knows about the daughter but I think she does.
    Yup, with donuts!!

The guy in prison the guard gave a razor blade to... that is Otto. He is a member of the club and he's doing time for something I cannot remember. His wife was LuAnn who ended up running the porn business the Son's took over to help her out (and help out Otto is one of their own). Recall that Opie just got married to one of LuAnn's former porn girls who has now gone straight. Anyway, Otto killed the the guy in the medical unit as payback for the Russian guy knifing Jax while he was in prison... I'm assuming the guy in the medical unit was a Russian.

Btw... the character of Otto is played by Kurt Sutter who created the show and is the Executive Producer. SOA is, for all intents and purposes, Kurt's show. He's written most of the episodes and until this season was the show runner. Kurt brought on Paris Barclay (former EP of HBO's In Treatment) this season as an EP who is now the show runner which frees up Kurt to do more writing and lots of other fun stuff.

Another btw... Kurt was an integral part of Shawn Ryan's show The Shield (also on FX) over many seasons. Along with writing, directing and producing many episodes he also acted on The Shield... he played the character Margos Dezerian who was another bad mutha Just like Otto on SOA

Ahh...that's right. NOw I remember. The irish woman (sister of the priest who was hiding Abel) who has the daughter for Jax' father. I remember the scene showing her reading the letters John wrote...John was talking about how he didn't feel a part of the club anymore...how he wanted out etc.

Gemma does know about John's daughter - the women told her about her before Gemma and the gang got to Ireland.
