This latest episode has me thinking Ray Hafner, who worked briefly with Jane at CBI, is RJ. He's a member of Visualize and could have been living at the farm at the time the RJ "happy" face was painted on the side of the barn back in the 80s. Add to that, he's leaving CBI to start his own investigative company (with some of the funding coming from Visualize), and he offered Lisbon a job there. He wants to break up Lisbon and Jane, perhaps? Or wants to keep a close eye on Lisbon?? On the other hand, I'm so used to twists and turns with the entire RJ story, that I'm second-guessing what seemed obvious in the episode. Maybe it was too obvious??

but the writers have to know now that we're all looking at the RJ thing in every interaction Jane has.

I think it's going to be a red herring. But it's still a bit squicky with the strange timing of the new company, trying to lure away Lisbon, just as a connection between Visualize and RJ is discovered.

But - I seriously got chills at the scene where Jane was outside the barn enjoying the sun and then the camera panned out and there was the faded red smiley face. Cuh-ree-pee. God star to the director for that.
