Am I mixing up shows again, or wasn't it Cho who previously was revealed to have a "criminal background" in his youth? And now Rigsby and his dad?
I agree I hope Jane gets rid of the IAD type guy, he's creepy. Somehow I think RJ would be more slender and agile, but who knows. This could be his way of getting rid of Jane's support system.

I'm wondering if they're planning on writing out Rigsby - no more Van Pelt love, the lie about his father, and now he's on the outs with Cho......

I think you're right PWS - there was something in Cho's background, can't remember exactly what though.

If I remember correctly he was part of a gang when he was younger. He reformed and served as military before becoming a CBI. I'm almost positive that's the connection?

There are a lot of hidden pasts to be sure.

I'm also not so sure they're doing this to get rid of Rigsby but rather to give him more to do. I really like all of them as a team and how each pair interacts.

I liked how the inquistor's constant references to honor and the military backfired and got Cho to protect Rigsby....after all, from all I hear, the #1 rule of military life is tor protect those in your own platoon, to have each other's backs. And Rigsby had already not abandoned Cho when his past came out (yes, I think it was gang membership). I certainly hope they are not getting rid of him... I like him and I like their interactions.
Of course maybe the questioner really wanted to Cho to lie, who knows... Then he can take down more of the unit. That actor is very good at playing an icky person.

Did you all catch the Blake quote? Don't I recall that Red John had quoted Blake before... Tiger, tiger, burning bright.... So that means the RJ aide (probably not RJ himself, as I"m sure they will save that for the end of the show) is Teresa's boss, whatever his name is?

Yeah - I don't know his name, but when he said the quote it made me wonder - was Jane there when he said it, he would've picked up on the quote immediately. Food for thought......

    can anyone remember the quote?

No Jane wasn't there, only Teresa. I don't remember the quote...it was an odd thing to say so clearly some kind of quote and not nearly as famous as the tiger, tiger one, but he SAID it was Blake.

So, no, cablejockey, I think from that quote that the RJ connection is not the overweight inquisitor who got the booze as some kind of ruse to allow Jane to skulk around and rescue the woman in the trunk. Much as I dislike that guy! Always trying to blackmail people!

I work in a Dr.'s office and way long last year one of our patients was discussing this program with me and he said then that he thought the boss was RJ. He said didn't you notice that everytime RJ was doing something the boss would be in the same area...out of the office on a conference or meeting or something. He said to watch for it because it was very subtle...I have been keeping an eye on it ever since but things have been kind of slow about RJ so I started to think maybe he was wrong. My spidey senses started to tingle when I saw him do that Blake quote this week. Gotta see where this goes for sure now.
