I'm so glad the show will get a proper series finale! (and it'll hit the magic 100 episode syndication deal!)!

Does that mean that there will only be 13 more new episodes or can the show be renewed after the fall episodes? Fringe has become one of my favorite shows and I think it just keeps getting better and better all the time.

Well, they could always order additional shows if they choose, but my guess is that the 13 commitment is to allow them to wrap the story.

Everything I've read has indicated that the next season of 13 episodes will be the finale of the series. They were given this as a way to wrap everything up and because the head of FOX TV adores Fringe (so he was really rooting for it).

Aww man! It's one of my favorite shows. At least they get to end it properly... I hope.

The first new show of the last season aired on 9-27. There is another new one tonight, Fri at 9 PM.

I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been TV Guide surfing...anyway, I'll have to watch the first show On Demand or online before the one I'm taping tonight.

I totally missed that this was coming back and Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond, LOST) is in this season. The only reason I'll be watching! I have to find the first two eps so I can catch up!

Personally I find these humane mouse traps rather ineffective. Better to lay down some glue and when you hear the critter scream you take a shovel to his head.

Very sad ending to last night's episode, though I think it
Emma's death, I knew someone was going to die, but I didn't think it would be she
may be reversible at some point. The second twist
Broyles being a spy for the good guys
was pretty easy to see coming, and I was pleased by it.

Feels like the story is going to really take off now. It puts into perspective the Observer's comment to Peter is a past season to be better than his father. He's now unfortunately in a painful situation involving his child too.
