I'd die if they included that scene!

I agree, shay, there are some dead spots in the books. I really enjoyed the third one, maybe you'll like it better.

Some of the books hook you from the start (Dead and Gone) but I agree, most of them do have a slow spot somewhere in the book; more so in the first couple - less later on.

So looking forward to Sunday night, until I realized we will be gone for a week and I will have to watch on DVR when we return.........

Awwwh boo...

I will have to watch it late Sunday night but at least I don't have to wait a week. The kids are spending the weekend w/ their grandparents so we will meeting halfway to pick them up and probably won't be back until after it airs.

Re: True Blood (HBO)

Think the show will be online? I'm waiting for the spoilers in here to see if I want to buy the second season when it comes out on DVD. I'm an avid book fan but after watching season one on DVD I'm not sure I'm a huge show fan. I too would LOVE to see Eric in the spandex though.

I am sure that season 2 will be online as that is how I watched most of season 1. But you have to be rather quick about watching the episodes as HBO did not let them stay online for long. I watched it using a free online service called 'Ninja' something, I can't remember what that was actually quite good as far as download speed.

Oh, next week's TV Guide has Sookie and Bill on the cover and a nice article about season 2 and yes Eric Northman will be having a bigger role in Sookie's life.

Re: True Blood (HBO)

Stephen Moyer is on The View today, and I am totally blown away by his strong Cockney accent!! Who would've thought he'd speak like that in his everyday life!!! WOW!!

He sounds like a male Eliza Doolittle!

Re: True Blood (HBO)

No...he used a 'Cajun Dialect' tape to learn how to use the language; his fiancee found it when she looked through a box of his things after she caught her children watching a sex tape he had (of one of the murder victims)! Sookie told him that it was 'funny' that his thoughts didn't have an accent, but that he did when he spoke.

Stephen Moyer plays Bill, the vampire. I just love the way he says, "Sssook-ay" (Sookie), and draws it out!!
