| Wipeout on ABC How is there not a thread for this show yet? Okay, I guess the concept for the show isn't that great: 24 people getting dwindled down until there's 1 left after facing 4 rounds of obstacles which includes bouncing on big balls, getting punched in the face by some punching gloves that pop out of a wall, and jumping over a bar. But I still think it's hilarious. And also, there's nothing else on at Tuesday @ 8 for me, so I might as well watch this. My personal favorite contestant is Ariel Tweto from episode 3. Anyone else who watches the show remember this: "Where's the pole? Where's the pole?" ![]() ![]()

| Re: Wipeout on ABC Like you, I too have been watching it when nothing else is on. It is totally inane, but I do get a kick out of it. |

| Re: Wipeout on ABC I've been watching it and I think it's hilarious. I guess I just like to see those folks get messed up on the obstacle courses. |

| Re: Wipeout on ABC We love WIPEOUT! I wonder why so many people are willing to try when they don't have a snowballs chance in heck of getting over the BIG BALLS! We loved Ariel too, but our most favorite was the guy who did the splits on the BIG BALLS. I think he won the top wippy award. We still laughed at it and agreed that it never gets old watching it. |

| Re: Wipeout on ABC Although I wouldn't postpone watching one of my favorite tv shows once the new season starts in favor of Wipeout, it does fill the void during the summer hiatus. I've seen three people make it across the top of the big balls all season. It never fails to amaze me. Personally, I'd probably jump right into the water to wash off the mud gathered up to that point.
