It's the funniest thing to watch him watch this show.
It's the same here-- my 4.5 yr asks me how many more 'sleeps' he has until the next episode. He was VERY frustrated with me this morning when I told him it was back to 7. He gave me one of those "oh, Mom" sighs.

Re: Wipeout on ABC

Finally got to watch yesterday's shows. Whoever is designing those obstacles is one sick pup. It's a good thing they're not messing with the big balls, the real stars of the show. Here's a little treat for their fans (& you know who you are):

Re: Wipeout on ABC

It reminded me of when I was at the beach the other day and there were 3 guys who were playing Flier's Up or whatever that game is called, and they said that the elementary school games were always the most fun because of their simplicity. Same goes for the big balls. It's not Wipeout without the big red balls.

I love that they put in the "Motivator".
So now, there is no escaping the Big Balls.

Re: Wipeout on ABC

We love this show in our house too. Daughter especially loves the new catapult for the finalists.

I have very little upper body strength left in these puny little arms of mine AND the dizziness would set in after the first spin of the merry-go-round, so I'm a no-go as a contestant, but I love being a viewer.

Re: Wipeout on ABC

Not sure if anyone else saw, but there was an All-Star WipeOut show that aired August 5. It's online now for you to watch. Some of the best from last season are back. Including Arielle "Never been kissed" Tweto.

I was disappointed that she didn't even try to do her "frog leap" style thing on the big balls. It worked for her the first time!

Blessings to his family, how sad.

I've never understood the appeal for this show, and have thought it to be exceedingly brutal and taking slapstick humor to a new (and much lower) level.
