Re: Wipeout on ABC

My kids (5 & 7) love this show, and I enjoy watching it with them. It is so cute to see them belly laugh like that. My 2nd grader quotes people from the show all the time. His favorite was the "weirdo" who was "in love" with the big balls. (WipeOut: A Love Story) He also liked the wrecking ball that was "in love" with the girl. It is so funny to hear him say, in that voice John Henson used, "Sorry honey, but it's my job."

Wipeout's a big hit in our household as well! My 3.5 yr old sets up obstacles around the family room and then does the course. It never seems to get old for him.

I love that there's a show out there that we can all sit down as a family and laugh together. [We saved them on the DVR.] You know a show is good when it beats out Dora as the first 'must see' show in the morning.

And, yeah, the split on the big balls definitely deserved the award!

I'm as excited as a 6 year old myself. Looking forward to the new obstacle course. And the snarky/funny commentators. Can I get a yeah for John Henson? Loved him & his little skunk stripe on 'Talk Soup'.

Re: Wipeout on ABC

Since I have nothing to watch on Wednesdays at that time, I will definitely be tuning in. I actually preferred SPIKE's Most Extreme Elimination Challenge, which was even more inane (if you can imagine that).

This obstacle course is way harder than last season. Someone's been watching Ninja Warrior, Unbeatable Banzuke & those other treacherous Japanese 'game' shows.

OK, no dizzy dummy in this round any more but still, this looks really, really hard.

The Wipeout Zone is crazy but gotta say, Fernando did get it done.

Re: Wipeout on ABC

Okay after seeing last night's episode, I am officially hooked. The new Wipeout Zone is hilarious, but I also loved the new course for the final 6. And the Gyro-Sweeper...seeing Cheap Date guy get owned made my day.
