Many Reform congregrations do not insist on conversion if the father is Jewish and the mother is not. Some still do. Reconstructionist Judaism completely accepts the child being Jewish if either parent is Jewish.

His set-up against Lynette is that someday he will drop the comment to Tom that the guitar was his present and then Tom will wonder why Lynette lied to him about it. Or else he'll use it to get something out of Tom. Or he's attempting to make himself invaluable to all of the Wisteria Lane households *except* for...McClosky? | |

| Re: Desperate Housewives (Season 5) Gee, ya think Andrew would have cut a deal with Gabby over the car. After all he did run her mother-in-law over and indirectly cause her death. It seems that the writers have forgotten about that hit-and run. |

| Re: Desperate Housewives (Season 5) Actually, Andrew did her a huge favor. She should've given him more money!

| Re: Desperate Housewives (Season 5) I just read that he is in serious condition with some broken bones and swelling on the brain. He IS expected to recover from what I read. And they are saying weeks, which sound a bit more positive then the first half of the report. DH is going to have to rewrite some scenes for the big episode he was in the process of filming. And they are waiting to see what happens before moving forward.
