Yeah, I had the same problems with this episode -- it was a big waste of time considering they only have a few hours left to wrap everything up.

It seems like the only real development was with Gaby and Carlos, and that was just them trying to out-do each other as usual. Bree and the girls were acting way too casual over coffee, talking more about her attraction to her lawyer than the fact that she's on trial for a murder that they're all involved in. Susan & RJ's story was kind of sweet, but again, this is what they want to do with the last few hours of the series? I feel like things should already be stepped up several notches this close to the finale.

Obviously no extended courtroom drama coming up.

I thought Tom *was* the CEO. What am I missing?

Either they're saving all the good stuff until the very last episode, or this show is just going to disappointingly fizzle out in the end. Last night's episode would have been boring at any point, no less this close to the grand finale.

CFO, Chief Financial Officer if I remember correctly. Which usually means 2nd or 3rd in the line of succession.

Tom might be Chief of Nothing when his boss realizes Lynette was using him to get Tom back, but I suppose that will be irrelevant because the show is ending. I hope SOMETHING exciting happens to SOMEONE next week! All I remember from the previews was Susan saying something to Julie about selling the house and moving in (with Julie) to help with the baby.

It's about time Gabby started feeling some guilt about Bree taking the fall for her and Carlos. Better late than never. Tom's back ...yay! Don't mess it up, Lynette.
