Susan has always done really stupid things on this show but come on why would she chance losing her daughter forever over having her granddaughter around. I know she thinks Julie will change her mind but what if she doesn't - why would she want to take that chance?

As Mike tried to point out, it would be cruel to have the baby Julie didn't want & wanted to put up for adoption right there at Susan's house, much less in her room.

When has Susan been known to make any intelligent, well-considered decisions? She's always been the ditzy character among the women. If ever a woman needed to be married to a grounded, sensible, reliable guy, it's her. Personally, I can't stand women like that. I know she supposedly has a good heart, but she can't be trusted to take care of herself. Even her own daughter grew up having to take care of her before Mike came along.

But thing is, Julie went back to school (wherever that is). How would ANYONE even know when she gives birth unless she calls to tell them? She could get away with the adoption thing if she wants to. She's a good person tho, would she?
If she were a "good person," she'd do all she could to adopt the result of her lapse in good judgment out to an established-as-responsible person/couple and keep her as far away from the Scavo kid and Susan as humanly possible.

Well, I don't think it's so "apropos" to bring back something that nobody really remembers.
