We've been getting the season new here already (in Canada) and let me tell you.. it's even better this time around. And OH MY GOD.. definitely a HUGE tear jerker episode in store for fellow fans.

CBS has picked up an additional 13 episodes of "Flashpoint."
Eye ran the second season of the Canadian co-production from January through May in the 9 p.m. Friday timeslot where it drew 9.5 million viewers and a 2.1 rating/6 share in the 18-49 demo.
"Flashpoint" premiered in July 2008 and later episodes ran against NBC's coverage of the Beijing Olympics.
Drama about a Toronto emergency response team stars Hugh Dillon, Enrico Colantoni, Amy Jo Johnson and David Paetkau.
With the skein produced by Canuck-based CTV, Pink Sky Entertainment and Amavar Entertainment, along with CBS Television Studios, financial commitment is shared and CBS was more willing to give the series another order.
No word on when the new episodes would air, or in which timeslot, but it's possible the series could replace one of the shows to be bumped from CBS' fall schedule.
Of the Eye's new dramas, "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "The Good Wife" have both gotten out of the gate in strong shape and "Medium" has proven to be a good companion to "Ghost Whisperer." "Three Rivers," however, fared poorly in its

Razorbacker--thanks so much for that info! I guess we'll just have to keep our eyes peeled--as my grandma used to say--to see when it comes back on. My guess is that it will be a midseason replacement too.

I didn't realize that it was about a Canadian SWAT-type team. So thanks for that info too.

I do! You could PM me or post it in spoilers. I hope it isn't the leader guy (Enrico)... I've especially liked him since he was Veronica Mars' dad....

It was [[Mark Taylor who played Lewis Young.. for lack of a better descriptor he was the black man on the team. He died after stepping on a land mine that was planted by a bad guy.. it was heartbreaking. The entire cast broke down and it left me wondering how much was acting and how much was real tears of having Mark leave the show.]]

Our local rerun channel is running "Just Shoot Me" and it stunned me after watching most of one episode to realize that the goofy photographer was Enrico.

What a fine and versatile actor he is!
