WHAT! What job in Cincinatti? Have I missed an episode? Is it on this Friday? My TV paper says that some sporting event is on (football, maybe).Originally Posted by buglover;3170597;

All I wanted was a 45, a stinking 45 - the record or the gun. I'd even settle for the damn malt liquor. - Al Bundy.
That's what I got from the CBS website. I never actually saw a preview. He did kiss her and she kissed back and I'm not sure what they are talking about regarding the job.
Yup, with donuts!!
On last week's episode, I saw Roger kiss Susan and it just kind of ended--she kissed him back. They didn't mention any Cincinnati job. Maybe he gets offered it in this week's episode?
I feel so bad for Janet. To me, she's prettier than Susan and I just love her. I LOVE how she handled her boss at work. It was classic!When Roger was telling his son to take his time in finding the right girl and to not settle, my heart just broke a little. Not for him, but for Janet. She doesn't even know that he was "settling" when he married her. I have a feeling though that if Roger had been married to Susan, he'd still be having this midlife crisis. I don't think it has to do with his dissatisfaction with Janet so much as his dissatisfaction with himself and what he failed to accomplish.
A move from Chicago to Cincinnati? I wouldn't do it either!Originally Posted by buglover;3170597;
I can, in a way, understand Roger's attraction to Susan over Janet. Janet is pretty tight-assed in expecting her definition of perfection, and she pretty much tells him what to do without listening. Or if she does listen, she discounts what Roger says and throws in her solution. And Susan listens to Roger. Of course, Susan has the luxury of being a supportive listener, because she doesn't have to rely on Roger for a mortgage payment or grocery money. And, of course, Susan has the luxury of romanticizing Roger because with him she feels needed. (And he has nice abs!)
However, if Susan left Bruce and Roger leftnutcrackerJanet, I'd bet that Susan would become a whiny, controlling bitch, Roger would drag his heels about finding a real job, and both would be off looking for other partners. Again.

I kind of want Janet to hook up with Tom...even if it's revenge sex for Roger's crush/dalliance with Susan. I think it'd be good for Janet. (I'm not saying this would be good in real life, but it'd be good for the plot of the TV show!) She clearly is attracted to him and I think he would be really sweet to her and show her a few things that maybe she doesn't allow ol' Roger to do!![]()
I totally agree! Hey, the magic brownies loosened her up for a little while.Originally Posted by Lois Lane;3170926;
