| Re: Swingtown I kind of viewed this one as a summer series, so to speak. Even though it has been really good and entertaining, I did not think they would continue it. |

Maybe it's just time to pick up a good book! At least you know that it won't be cancelled once you get into it.

| Re: Swingtown Shoot. One of the few shows I actually liked watching on TV. I can't stand watching the reality/game show tv. I was totally into this show. Hated the story lines of the children with a passion but other wise I was into something different than yet another CSI or Law and Order. |

| Re: Swingtown For me, the recent well-written shows I enjoyed that were axed are Book of Daniel and Journeyman.

| Re: Swingtown Cancelled??? I am officially going to stop watching new series--every series I get into gets cancelled. I hope if they put it out on DVD that they will put the unaired episodes. I still don't understand how 'I survived a Japanese game show' still survives and a good, solid series like this is cancelled. Hmmm--maybe they can try Showtime to keep the series alive--I always thought this seemed more like a show that would be on that channel than CBS anyway. |

| Re: Swingtown It would be great if HBO or Showtime picked it up -- there's way more the writers, directors, actors, etc. could do without the stupid, puritanical FCC censorship that the freebie networks are subject to. America is so friggin' backwards in this regard! No problems with showing violence with guns and knives and fists and blood and guts -- but, ooh! -- a bare nipple or "naughty" word will send people "taking to their beds," filling out cease-and-desist petitions from Don Wildemon and James Dobson, and filing lawsuits.

| Re: Swingtown If it went to HBO, I would quit watching. This has been a great show because the "lifestyle" has been a background to the good storytelling and character development. |
