| Re: Swingtown Not just from that era, unfortunately. I worked for a decade in the securities industry and you'd be hard-pressed to see much difference between Bruce and the dudes I used to work with. Bunch of weasels.

| Re: Swingtown I find Bruce to be a very realistic portrayal. In fact, Usher had a song a couple of years ago where he says pretty much what barefoot refers to. |

I hate that plot line! ![]() And wasn't Laurie the name of Susan Dey's character in The Partridge Family? (Wasn't she anorexic?) That is who I thought this girl looked like when she was leaning against the door. Only a creepier version than Susan Dey's Laurie. In that scene I wondered if they cast her because they thought that 70s chicks were supposed to look like Laurie from The Partridge Family. (Personally, I looked like Marcia from The Brady Bunch!) Why do they cancel the shows I love and leave so much crap on the air? Waah! | |

| Re: Swingtown It is seeming like the more well written a show is, the faster it gets cancelled. The more dumb a show is, the faster it climbs into the prime spot!
