I swear I've been seeing promos all week and none of them mentioned a day change.

| Re: Swingtown actually a couple of shows have done much better on Friday nights than they have done other nights (Men In Trees) is one of the most recent examples...it didn't die in the ratings until they moved it from Friday nights....In the last couple of years its seems that CBS doesnt' really care what the fans want or even ratings though...I don't know what they are after..they have removed several good shows from the air

| Re: Swingtown I liked Friday's episode, but it wasn't one of my favorites. The Puzzlerama or whatever it was called was just a little too weird. It was interesting to see Susan meet Laurie's teacher/boyfriend and slowly start to put the pieces together. When Laurie was standing in the doorway talking to her little brother and the girl next door, she looked so painfully skinny and bent over--kind of like she had a spine disease or something. I remember seeing the actress in another show last year--"Standoff" (?) maybe--where she played a young girl in a cult and she looked much better. But she was wearing full clothes there--not the halter tops and shorts like she is on "Swingtown." I think it's the way she's playing Laurie that is bothering me. I want Susan and Roger to get together--but then I don't because I like Janet and she would be so devastated! |
