It can be creepy when you think about what could happen, but didn't happen to you.

Judy dispatched a plaintiff in double quick time today.
She (plaintiff) moved into her boyfriend's apartment when he was sent to prison in August '06 so he wouldn't lose the place.
She sent him money for various things while he was in prison and paid the rent on her own while he was in prison and for two months after he was released in November '06 until he got on his feet and got a job, at which time he paid his share of the bills.
She continued to date him for nine months I believe, then they split and she was now asking for rent money that she paid in December '06 and January '07.
Judy dismissed the case and sent her packing.
I think it took less time for her to hear the case than it did for me to type this

I can't remember where the deer hit though - if it was a front collision then the driver is at fault, not the deer. If the deer hit the side then it's the deer's fault.
Yeah an act of God. Let's see - lighting- act of God, Thuderstorm - yes, rain yes, flood yes, tornado, yes -deer running - um NO!...

It took me longer to read this than it took the Judge to rule.

How about the case of the Dad who was really nice to that irresponsible kid...?

    The dad was too nice
I really liked his attitude about credit cards though, thought he had a really sensible approach. Credit cards are a great way of getting a short-term loan, even better if your card company gives you rewards of some sort for using the card. The youngster would do well to pay heed to his dad's philosophy on credit.
It's a shame the kid didn't repay his dad's trust and use the credit card sensibly.
He works for Target, I don't know how he could afford to pay off the other bills credit card bills that were supposedly between $1000 and $2000. Evidently he has very few other overheads.
His dad seems like a good guy though so I hope they'll work on their relationship and the son will come to appreciate him.

Well if all he used was the credit card and his checks paid for that? But hell if Target pays that kind of money, I'm applying today.

I think Dad & Son will become close again, I think this was a wake up call.

That's why I love Judge Judy. I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of a case in her courtroom.

I finally saw the show with the kid that ran up the credit card bills. I actually wanted to slap the dog-[fa edit] out of that smart mouthed, disrespectful, self-entitled/entitled kid. I swear this was a case of a kid who grew up feeling more like his parents were his friends and equals. Dad did try, but got a very expensive lesson; live and learn, Poppie. Mom made herself look like a jackass. I think both parents spend time competing to look like the "cool" parent in their kids' eyes. This kid's behavior is the kind you'll get when you choose to live in a "give, give, give" situation.

OMGoodness- this was so fast!! So.... we established that they slept together in January, February, March, April, and May - split in June... therefore -- "Get over it! Move on!"

I think todays was even faster, because the daughter who was being sued by the mother would not shut up. Judgement for the plaintiff $1,000.00 because you can't shut up.
