Not necessarily--he could have wound up at a different point on the island or been picked up by the boat of red shirts and motored back to the island with them.... There's a slim hope....

I refuse to believe he's dead until they show us his actual body next season. All Jin-ites should band together and show our support for this character. The only thing that's making me think that he may be dead is the actor's brush with the law. Every actor on this show that has had a brush with the law has had their character mercilessly wiped out. Cynthia Watros, Michelle Rodriguez, the guy that plays Ekko...all of which have had DUI trouble....all their characters were killed. And DDK (who plays Jin) had DUI trouble a while back, as well, so...but they could prove my theory wrong and keep him alive. How are they coming along with the next season, anyway? Have they already finished writing everything? Because I was thinking that all the Jin-ites could write to Abrahms (sp?) and tell him to please keep Jin on.
Oh, and I just watched Pt 3 again and it was not Nikki and Paulo in the pit. It was some girl and Richard. So there goes my theory about the island ressurecting past characters.

I cracked up at work today...I work at a law firm and one of our current files is on a James Ford (Sawyer's real name)....I had to call my son so he could get a little laugh out of it too!

He hasn't been in yet but I've told my son if he does look like him, my SO will be kicked out and we'll have us a new roommate

I'm wondering if the reason Jack has such a tie to the island is when they crashed it somehow released his dad Christian on to the island. If I remember correctly we never saw his body. Also Maybe that is why Jacob said HELP ME and then we never saw him again we saw christian and Claire.

That is why they need to get Jack back to the island to do something about his father.

I did not see that - not sure that I even remember what they (N&P) looked like; but sometime in the next few days I will go back and watch.

I remember seeing that one flight attendant, who survived the crash and lived with the other losties. Then she was snatched up by the others and taken to that camp where all the children were. Still wonder what ever happened to those kids that survived the plane crash. They might have been in the pit, but I just saw the flight attendant.

I also think that when Jack said that Sun blamed him, that's just Jack being overwrought with guilt about EVERYTHING, regardless of how anyone actually feels. I don't doubt that Sun was angry with Jack, but I don't think he's the other one she holds accountable for Jin's death (IF he's dead. If he's stranded on the island still, he may as well be dead since there's a good chance he won't make it off the island...)

I agree that Sun is not a stupid woman. But sometimes one's heart speaks louder than one's head. Maybe she logically knows Jack is not at fault for Jin's death, but her heart still blames him. As for Ben - she doesn't know about him killing Keamy and how that led to the boat's explosion. So she can't blame him for that. Unless she has somehow found out about it after the fact. But I'm sure she blames him for all the happenings on the island in general, which could be said to include Jin's death.
I speak of his being dead, but I still hope that Jin is somehow alive.
