So what happened right at the end? My DVR cut off when they were getting into the fuselage of the plane to get out of the rain. Argh!!

I will spoiler for those who haven't seen yet [[Jack and Kate heard what they thought was thunder but it was actually a chopper. Someone parachuted onto the island. Jack and Kate went to find him and it turned out (or so we're led to assume) that it's the guy who answered Jack's call for help. (He asked "Are you Jack?") That was about it. The first thing I thought of was "smokey" in human form.]]. I do have a question. [[when Charlie "visited" Hurley. If he's dead and just an apparition, then how come the other patient was able to see him?]]

They saw a light from a helicopter and then a person parachutes out. They ran to the person. After he took off his helmet, he looked at them and said "Are you Jack"....then the screne fades to black!
