| Re: LOST - Season Four But how does Sun know about the circumstances of blowing up the island? She didn't even know that room was loaded with the explosives or that Jin was even in that room. She also wouldn't know that Keamy was "wired" so that if he died the ship would blow up. And she doesn't know that Ben killed Keamy knowing that the ship would blow up as a result. All of that will probably come out next season, or even the season after that. Still, for right now, I don't think Jack is one of the two that she blames. I think it will come out that it is Ben and Widmore. I like the idea of Sun being responsible for both Ben and Widmore's demise. And I really hope that somehow Jin survived somehow and they are reunited. |

But, Sun said she was visited by Jeremy Bentham (Locke) so he probably told her about Keamy being wired to blow up the ship if he did not make it back to the ship with Ben. Locke was with Ben when Keamy died. Locke was trying to keep Keamy alive so that the people that were on the freighter would not die. Since Locke met with Sun after she had already had her baby, he probably told her the circumstances of how the ship blew up. Also, Sun was actually "in" the room with explosives when they discovered it. She was told by Michael to go up on top deck, and Jin asked her to leave and wait up on top for him. She was holding Aaron then. I hope that cleared up any confusion and I am sorry if I mislead you.

| Re: LOST - Season Four Ahhhh okay. This is why I should probably watch the show more than just once.....and keep copious notes too! I forgot all about Sun being in the room with the explosives. And yes, I can see now how Locke (as Bentham in a flash forward) could tell Sun 'the rest of the story' Thanks for clearing that up. I swear I watch the show so carefully, yet manage to miss stuff along the way. |

| Re: LOST - Season Four I think it's just the standard "I'm going to get you." "Not if I get you first" type of dialogue. Obviously Widmore is still going to be looking for Ben now that he is off the island (as he was looking for him when he was on the island). But now Ben will be looking for Widmore in turn.

Are they really trying to kill each other? I think they could have already done that; Keamy could have been given orders to kill Ben on sight, but he was taking him back alive; Ben with his zillion contacts in the outside world could have picked Widmore off just about anytime he wanted to. We saw future Ben, walk into Widmore's bedroom; perfect chance to kill him. Actually, Widmore could have done the same thing as Ben was walking out of his bedroom but didn't. The "rules have changed"..... maybe Ben has to watch Widmore suffer by killing Penny before he will finally kill Widmore. ??? Or, is the dialog with Keamy referring to something more (like ownership of the island)? Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Were Richard and the rest of Ben's people original owners of the island, or was Dharma Initiative? I think there is something more behind the battle between Widmore and Ben, but just can't fathom what it is......

| Re: LOST - Season Four The Scene with Ben in Widmores room was in the future making Keamy's warning ring hollow or it put Ben on extra high alert and he was/is able to stay one step ahead of him. Maybe that's what the whole Ben is sending out assassins thing is about. Widmore had ties to Dharma, (but then so did Paik industries). Maybe after Ben gassed the Dharma boys he hid the island the first time from Widmore and the original Dharma group. We know he was still recruiting with Richard under the Dharma name when he brought Juliet on to the island. That can't have made Widmore & co very happy if they found that out. One small thing about Rose. I just re- watched the pilot and had forgotten how important she was from Ep 1 Of the story. It seems funny for them to have dragged her out from wherever she seems to have been most of the season to confront Myles unless it was important. She is the another one tied closely to the island like Locke is. Very happy that Jin apparently survived, and that Claire didn't just walk off in to the bushes never to be seen again. . Got to love casting notes. That's how we all knew Michael was returning. |

I hear ya! Yes, it would have been illogical for Ben to seize the day and off Widmore when he waltzed into his bedroom. Much better for the torture sequence to fully play out; after all, they probably are the central focus of the mystery unraveling. (But, I do hope that no one succeeds in killing Penny or Desmond.)Somehow, I think that scenario between the two will be an important piece of the puzzle that we will probably have to wait 2 more years to see resolved. Thanks CCL - I think your right! pseudo!!!! Interesting speculation on Ben hiding the island a prior time!!
