Unk, my husband is watching it. I'm dying to find out her answers to the questions (especially about her father), but I can't sit through it. Moment of truth and Deal or No Deal are 2 shows I can't/won't get into.

that question about her friend was easy. if you've been friends for 15 yrs...theres gonna be a period you find them attractive. i just saw my childhood friend i was never attracted to and thought she was beautiful....

they go to commercial too much. i dont want to see a preview of upcoming questions cause it takes away the suspense. say for example the question about her father leaving her mom. you know shes not gonna get out until a certain question....so until you see all the preview questions there's no real suspense to it anymore....

I tend to think of game shows as the original reality shows. Back before "reality show" got redefined to mean "partially scripted drama starring non-actors".

I don't know whether I just have a high shock threshold, but the answers the latest contestant gave weren't nearly as scandalous as the previous guy, imo.

I should have known better from any show scuzzy Mark Wahlberg is a part of, but I was expecting her to reveal far more considering the sensational previews.
I doubt anything she said about her father was news to her family, she clearly has some issues with him and her mother splitting up. I'm sure her father wouldn't want to be called untrustworthy on tv, but I didn't think that was a very shocking answer considering her previous responses.
When she stopped and took the money I thought "is that it?" I was waiting for more shocking revelations.

This guy is a jerk. Fat people repulse him and all fat people are weak.

    Re: The Moment Of Truth

Tuning into Hell's Kitchen I caught the last three minutes or so of this.

"Since you've been married have you lost attraction to your husband"?

Wow. What a screwed up question. Not because of the sex part, but because of the "since you've been married" part. Obviously the woman was hanging her answer on the fact that she'd lost her attraction to him BEFORE the marriage, and the lie detector couldn't tell the difference!

Man, this show stacks the deck.
