CSI Miami - trying to hard?

I LOVE CSI. It is one of my favorite shows.

I'm just afraid the writers are stretching themselves to thin and don't know what I think about this new CSI-Miami show.

Any thoughts? (I'll definitely watch the premier, I just hope my CSI original doesn't suffer )

The TV Guide review said that it might be like the Law and Order series. So, maybe it'll be good...hopefully.

I worry too, but as Mdrio says L&O did it successfully.
I was never a big Caruso fan, but I did think he did a good job in the "crossover" episode last year.
I will definately be giving a go

I think the other characters around Caruso are trying too hard, definitely. And they don't distinguish themselves very much, either. I guess I'll watch the premiere, even though my wife is not fired up about the idea.

This coming Monday? The 23rd, I think. Not sure on that one.

Sorry about spacing out about the calendar, Bravo. As long as we're at it, though, I edited the thread title, though, from "to" to "too" as I kept seeing it on the front page of the site and couldn't take it any longer. Hmmm, where is that pet peeves thread again?
