I didn't watch it, because I don't generally like sitcoms. But I will say that I laughed every time I saw the commercial. There's just something innately funny about her to me.
Perfect, I thought it was hilarious!
It was good; better than most.
It's a mediocre sitcom. Not too impressed.
I hated it!
Didn't watch it.

I totally agree. I also thought the Andy Richter show was funny. When Fox moved it to Sunday night I tought it was great since I already was tuned in for The Simpsons and Malcolm in the Middle. Then they decided to replace it with Oliver Beene?! Now they're gonna follow that up with The Pitts.Originally posted by CaliGirl
Here's what Fox is good for: The Simpsons, Malcolm in the Middle, The Bernie Mac Show (most of the time) and American Idol. End of story!Gimme a break! I heard Bernie Mac is also getting canned, anyone else hear this?
Well, Bernie's on the chopping block because it's not funny any more. That's the last I heard. There was a demand from the higher-ups to make it funny or go away.
I think Wanda was funny, but will get tireing in the long run.
Bernie Mac used to be hilarious, but he's getting to become "old news" kind of, I guess once ya have seen so much of him & then it starts to seem repetitive..his style & his jokes etc.

Yeah, I watched the first season of Bernie Mac, but it isn't good anymore. Wanda At Large, now there's a show! But I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked it.
I've always thought Wanda was pretty funny. Her voice doesn't bother me at all. In fact, it didn't occur to me that her voice was odd at all until I read this thread.
I can't imagine her in a sitcom though. Of course I don't watch sitcoms, so what do I know?!?!![]()

I'd never heard of Wanda Sykes before this show...who is she/where did she come from?![]()
I have honestly never heard of WS. I had to look her picture up online just to make sure and sure enough, I have never seen her bofore either.![]()
It occurred to me that no matter how bleak things might seem at times, at least I have a head. ----Stargazer
I've seen her standup acts before on Comedy Central and they are hilarious!![]()

I thought it was a great show. I've watched both episodes and they are very funny. I hope people keep tuning in it is a great show.
