And if it's too far into the future I'd feel gyped. If they feel they've lost creativity to keep the show in it's current time frame then maybe they need to think about doing one more season and ending the series with some adequate closure. They could fast forward the final episode to show us what becomes of everyone and I'd be fine with that. But to fast forward a whole season would be too much to handle imo. ]]

I was watching last Thursday and last Sunday and was surprised to see Chris Carmack form 'Lovewrecked' (with Amanda Bynes) on the show.

I was somewhat surprised Gaby stayed, but incredidbly dismayed by how she treated him prior to his admitting that he's really blind.
I love Marcia Cross and even Felicity's character, in comparison to Susan, isn't that bad. But dear Marc Cherry, you're slacking big time!

Re: Desperate Housewives Season 4

The final episode of this season is going to be five years into the future and leave us wondering what happened that got them here. Next season will be flashbacks to show us what went down. Ellen brought this up and asked if it were rumor and Marcia confirmed the facts and said it was true. I see this as Cherry's drastic attempt to save this show. He still struggles with his fatal error in solving all the mysteries the first season leaving no cliff hangers for the second. I don't know if he can breathe enough life into it to save it. Too bad, because the first season was stellar.

I do not like the twist of Carlos being blind and I assume a miracle will happen to restore it.

I don't like it either, but I think it opens up the plot twice of Gabby going for Victor's money (she may have assumed it was hers so was not worried about a poor, penniless Carlos) and then fighting it out with Victor's dad. So I don't think Carlos is regaining his sight any time soon.

Re: Desperate Housewives Season 4

I had a funny feeling that Bree would get that Founder's Day award tonight.

I wanted to smack Gabby about the handicapped parking situation. Not funny. Would have liked to see her get a ticket for doing that.

And why was it Carlos getting the newspaper....twice.....???? I mean, he is not going to be reading it!

Re: Desperate Housewives Season 4

I predict that Carlos will fall, hit his head and get his eyesight restored at some point. Perhaps the 5 year forward episode will show him with sight and we will see all of this next season. He won't tell Gabby because he suspects she is having an affair and wants to catch her. Carlos will come into some money during this drama, creating the reason for Gabby staying in the marriage. Someone, Edie most likely, will catch him in the act of seeing to add more to the drama.

Seems obvious that Lynette and Tom's kids set the fire because they overheard the conversation in the pizza parlor. There would be no other reason to focus on their evesdropping.

Re: Desperate Housewives Season 4

I highly doubt the kids could have gotten out at night to set the fire. However, Tom was missing for sometime during the dinner... thus setting up the idea that Tom did it. Now, it is quite possible that his being gone is all circumstantial... in fact maybe Rick did it, to collect the insurance and is setting up Tom to take the fall :wink

The kids are just going to add more angst for Lynette and strengthen her distrust of Tom...
