Re: Desperate Housewives Season 4

Oh, I am in no way suggesting they shouldn't have severe personality defects. Could you imagine the show if they were all healthy, stable and decent? Yikes! The boredom. It would be almost as bad as actually living in the suburbs.

Susan is more scatterbrained, Bree is demure and calculating, and Edie is a succubus.

Actually Lynette was the miserable stay at home Mom when the show started. She later went back to work.

I dislike her because she is so self-centered. She is a user. She even caused her own husband to lose out on a promotion in an earlier season, she pretty much cheated on him while he was laid up with a back injury and she has been awful to McCluskey. Looks she may do better now that McCluskey called her out on it.

Re: Desperate Housewives Season 4

Did Tom have that little girl before he met Lynette...or did he cheat on her while they were married? I can't remember...

The thing that was both hilarious and disturbing about the last episode (to me) was that Bree pimped out Andrew to get her roof done faster. I don't know many parents who'd do that to their kid. I know that Andrew played along (love the kid this season, by the way!)...but Bree (and Orson) should've known better.

Still, I'm enjoying this show! So what does that say about me?

I believe Tom and the daughter's Mother met on a cruise before he and Lynette were together and it was pretty much a ONS.

SavhLaney is correct, they had a ONS before he met Lynette, and Tom never even knew about it until he was contacted by her. I am not a fan of the conniving little brat, so I am glad she isn't around much. She was a pretty good kid though in the beginning.

ITA, the actor who plays Andrew has grown so much and does a really good job with the role. I hope we see more of him!

Re: Desperate Housewives Season 4

This is a satire. All the characters will go through their drama. All will redeem themselves and fall from grace in a constant loop. To become attached or irritated with them is not productive. This is a show to sit back and enjoy and leave the emotion on the coffee table. It is just fun, nothing more.

You mean you're trying to tell me that there really wasn't a tornado in Fairview? I don't believe you, I saw it right there on the television. Don't go getting me mad all with those falsehoods your telling.
