Could that have been it? I think she wrote Dylan the truth about what really happened to her father (that Katherine was responsible)
Katherine's husbaad found it first, and showed it to K while telling her he was leaving her for good. Later, Dylan found the torn pieces of the note and put enough of them together to figure something out.

Re: Desperate Housewives Season 4

One question that has bothered me- were the photos of Gabby and Carlos time stamped with the date? It seems to me they were not. If not, I'd say Gabby could argue that they were actually taken when they were married. Unless the picture-taker has a way to prove when they were taken, I'd say it seems a pretty plausible defense.

Re: Desperate Housewives Season 4

It could depend on what she was wearing, I guess. It would have to be an older outfit if it was when they were married. If it was something that Mayor Boy bought her, she'd still be up a creek.

I forget when/where Edie had the pictures taken...

Cherry is never going to get an interesting plot line outside of the main characters. I don't care, at all, what was in the note or what happened to Katherine and her family. They will be driven to move out of town leaving the house empty for new neighbors and another sub plot at some point and on it will go. Develop Bree's kids story lines if you need something more to work with, we already know them.

Re: Desperate Housewives Season 4

If the photographer was shooting with a digital camera, the jpegs are embedded with the date he took the photos...Now, of course, he could've changed the date/time if he wanted to before he started shooting to indicate any day/time he wanted to...but that would be one way of determining when the photos were taken. Also, the mayor/his dad probably work with reputable private detectives or shady ones who'd testify to whatever they were paid to say. But they would testify if need be that the Solis' were having an affair while she was married to the mayor. Now, if the photos weren't that bad--just kissing, hugging--all Gabrielle has to say is that she hugs all her friends. Or, she could even lie and say the mayor was a weirdo who WANTED her to have an affair with her ex--that he enjoyed that kind of thing. Hey, that's no crazier than some of the plot lines on this show...

It felt that the funeral was the end of that plot line. There is no will to contest, case closed. Cherry milked that situation more than anyone could imagine as it is.

I don't hate Lynette, although I understand the dislike some fans have for her character. She is very self-centered and smug. She rarely considers the other viewpoint. The way she uses people can be un-endearing (mrs Mccluskey, etc) However, I think she is about to turn the corner on her past ways. Having survived cancer and now the tornado, perhaps these will serve as her redemption... in fact I can see a possible scenario where she goes too far the other way.

But really, what's to like about any of them? They each have a different, severe personality defect.

Re: Desperate Housewives Season 4

Well they're all self-centered, I think if they weren't then the show wouldn't have much of a premise. Lynette was a player at an ad agency when the show began. I kind of like how they haven't forgotten her competitive, alpha-dog nature even though she's out of the rat race. It sets her apart from the others. Susan is more scatterbrained, Bree is demure and calculating, and Edie is a succubus.
