As a series finale, it was kind of light. I think we need another season, at least, to have another shot at it.

Geez, fridays and saturdays are the worst nights for tv, there is hardly anything to watch and now there is even less. Please bring it back CW.

I liked the episode but knowing it was the last one jaded it for me. I just didn't feel like investing my feelings even when he told her he loved her.

I'd be scared to see how they "vamp" it up for their network. I don't think it'd be the same show we love if the CW took it. I hope that CBS realizes how good it is and they bring it back even midseason.

I agree, great ending...and with plenty of loose ends for a next season. I'm almost as invested in Josef having a love life as in Mick's. That actor does the sad/lonely thing so well! ( Yes, I was a fan of his from VM as well.)
Question: I noticed there were at least one or two other vampire names crossed off the list, in addition to the two who were just killed by the other vampires. Did anyone get a good look at those names/recognize them? Are they other vamps we've seen killed earlier?
I do hope CW brings it back and doesn't distort it too much. If CBS keeps it hanging as a maybe I fear the main actors may take other gigs. Can't believe they won't be in demand, especially the guys.
ETA And I agree, PhoneGrrrl, that initially I feared an Angel rip off, but they've done this really well after a bit of a choppy start.

^ I worry more about Sophia Myles. She had a fairly decent career before Moonlight and her imdb page has her as being in production on a project, whereas Alex O'Louglin's page only has something already completed (nothing current) and the guy who plays Josef has him as doing nothing currently. Plus Sophia Myles wasn't even supposed to be on the show from the beginning (they brought her in to replace another actress) so I worry she might not be as invested in the show as those who were with it from the very beginning. If they were to bring the show back without any of the three main actors, it would just not be the same. They don't have to bring Coraline back.

I know CBS cancelled the show, so I thought it was weird how they were promo'ing it tonight as the "season finale." As much as this totally stank of an Angel rip-off at the start of the show, I really warmed up to it over time. Although, I have to say that it took me until this last episode to stop seeing Dana Carvey every time Josef was on the screen. Something about the actor who plays Josef just registers in my brain as a young Carvey and it took me out of the vampireness of the character.

I never saw Dana Carvey until you mentioned it, PhoneGrrrl. Now I can't get it out of my head.

I'm upset to know that Moonlight isn't returning to CBS it was a great show, I suppose some shows aren't meant to have a second season. It's a pity though.
