Speaking of vamp behaviour - I know that vamps don't need food, but could they still eat it anyways? Because you'd think the restaurants in LA would think it very weird that Mick keeps bringing Beth in and not taking any food himself.
She asked him that once "what would happen if he ate" and I don't remember what he said; but he does seem to be able to drink - what happens then?

So, Beth essentially became a murderer last night, conspiring with Josef to kill Foster. I wonder if that decision will come back to haunt her. I understand her motivation but, still, to condemn a man to death, even a man as unsavoury as Foster.....hmmm. Speaking of his death, does anyone wonder if the Vamp-Paparazzi were, in fact, working on Josef's orders or if they killed Foster of their own volition (maybe to help their fellow vampire out)? They didn't seem like the type of "fixers" that Josef would turn to in such a situation.
I think Beth had first hoped Josef would have an alternate solution, but when he explained what it would take to truly make it go away, she agreed to it - so yes, definitely murderer. Which makes me wonder if it would be easy for her to take the leap and become one...... I do think that Josef used the paparazzi vamps because it would be easy for them to locate Foster since they already new him and new how to easily find him.

I always think of Josef as one of the head honchos responsible for protecting the confidentiality of vampires for the entire west coast. Sort of the Godfather of vamps in that territory..

I think you may be right about the new guy/replacement being ADA, since the preview shows him offering Beth a job, and would not be likely if he is a detective. He did see the photos of Mick being hit and recovering, so he is definitely curious about what is going on. Which makes me wonder whether he will be privy to the secret or end up like Foster. What is odd to me though is that over at cbs, the shows cast bio's do not include him, but they do include Coraline (ugh)....hope that doesn't mean we will occasionally be seeing her in the future.

ETA: CBS confirms he is the new ADA - thanks for helping to clarify that for me!

Good point.

Unfortunately [[ for me, and for Mike'sgirl, Coraline is back in the next episode. ]]

And there are only two episodes left!

Re: Moonlight

I really hope that the next two episode are the last for the season and not the last ones forever. This is a great show and I know that it can do really well. I haven't talked to anyone who has watched it and not liked it.

Noooooo so that is why they have given her costar status. Darn, don't they ever listen to the fans? Well at least I have warning and can prepare for it - thanks CCL!

Cancelled - maybe not, the first show after the strike drew in a lot more viewers and CBS is pleased with that. If they can keep it up the next couple shows, I think it will be OK.

Re: Moonlight

I am really hoping that this show does not get canceled. I am still angry over the whole "Jericho" thing with CBS as it showed that there was little consideration for the online viewings as well as the recorded views from Tivo and DVRs. Let us hope that TPTB at least learn to listen to their fans a little more and not just their bank accounts!

Re: Moonlight

The first episode back was number one in its timeslot and was also number one in the 18 - 49 demographic. Those are good signs.

Regarding the finale: [[ apparently it involves a human-vampire relationship (not Beth and Mick) that ends with the vampire killing the human while in the throes of a romantic encounter. Also, Josef does his Godfather thing (a la Mike'sgirl earlier comment) when the vampires living in L.A. are faced with public exposure. ]]

Re: Moonlight

Moonlight is on the cusp as far as being cancelled or renewed per TV Guide.

How did the ADA get the photo's of Mick being hit by a car from the sleezy paparazzi??

I was wondering that. First I thought that the Paparazzi guy gave it to him (despite his attempts to blackmail Beth - he seemed like the type who would try to get the most from a scam). But now I'm thinking that maybe the ADA was tapping Beth's email.

And isn't that illegal? on what possible grounds could he possible justify a warrant for that?
