| Re: Dirty Sexy Money I wasn't too surprised to find out that Tripp isn't completely innocent. I was actually expecting it because where would the drama and conflict be if he was a good guy? Plus, they are painting Nick into being this rather naive guy and it just wouldn't have gone with that image if Trip was a good guy. What I don't understand is why the other guy would buy the tape, why he would with hold it, and why he would give it to Nick. What's going on? One of them is lying to him and setting him up.. but which one? I cannot stand the character of Brian, but I suppose that's the whole idea lol. I sort of like Natalie, who is the actress playing her? She looks so familiar. And the twins? Are very close to crossing that line into too familiar territory but I still really like them. Just hope they never go that far with them. I'm really liking this show and can't wait for the next one... a week is way too long! LOL |

| Re: Dirty Sexy Money I think they gave the tape to Nick so that Nick has some leverage over the family. Here, it's not much given everything you know / will find out about the Darling family, but you are now the proud owner a Darling family member porn tape.

| Re: Dirty Sexy Money And how nice Nick gets a porno of his former lovah! I wonder how happy Mrs. Nick will be if/when she finds out. By the looks of next week, not very!Harmony, are you talking about Natalie Zea, the actress who plays Karen? She used to be on "Passions" but I can't tell you who she played because I don't watch. But maybe that's where you know her from. Also, I agree about the twins...hope they don't go there. Icky! But especially after J confessed she's still a virgin...I wonder if she just hasn't found anyone who matches up to dear old bro'. | |

| Re: Dirty Sexy Money I'm fairly sure that Julie (Julia?) is still a virgin because she's either looking for somebody like her brother/twin or like her father. I was talking about the girl (I thought her name was Natalie?) that the male twin (I really need to learn these names heh) was hooking up with. She's very familiar and I can't place her. I fully expect Nick's marriage to fall apart at some time in the not so distant future. I actually think it will be the wife's doing because she becomes too into the whole rich lifestyle. |

| Re: Dirty Sexy Money When I first saw this was coming as a new fall show, I wasn't going to watch it because I did not like, and still do not like, the title. They could have done so much better with that. Then I saw who some of the actors were, particularly Donald Sutherland and Jill Clayburgh and decided I must give it a try. I'm so glad I did. I enjoy a show that makes me go, "Hmmmmm." Like others here, I cannot stand the Brian character, but that is a tribute to Glenn Fitzgerald's performance. I can't think of a sleazier villain. He kind of makes me think of what Eddie Haskell might have grown up to become. A round of applause as well to Samaire Armstrong as Juliet for her hysterical send-up of Paris Hilton and to the boy playing Brian's son.

![]() As for the title of the show, I don't mind it. I'm from a generation where nighttime soaps had strong 'grand' names like Falcon Crest (my favorite of all times), Dallas, Dynasty, etc. -- things that immediately conjured up strong images of the positive notion of the show involved -- so I didn't expect to like one with a smirky behind-the-closed-door name like Dirty Sexy Money. I expected more silliness, and not too much drama, so expected to see it once, dislike it, then not watch again. But I was wrong in my expectations, and I do enjoy the show, so my initial presumptions based on it's name was to my discredit. I'm not saying I like the name, just that I don't mind it... the strength of the show overcame the weak name. What I do love is the show's theme song.

| Re: Dirty Sexy Money This show is fun. It reminds me of Aaron Spelling's short-lived Titans. But with good actors. And good writing.

| Re: Dirty Sexy Money Thanks Firewoman! Hubby is a huge Monk fan and I'm pretty sure I saw her doing a guest shot on that. Oh man, all those old night soaps. Loved them all. I'm not sure this show is on the same caliber but it does remind one of them. And to answer the question if I find the transexual pretty? No and heck no. Her nose is so very odd shaped, every time "she's" on the screen I just stare at it. But she has some beautiful hair. Brian's wife (have we ever been told her name?) is an idiot. How can she actually believe anything she's being told about the boy? |
