I have enjoyed this show.
Before the most recent episode came on, I saw a promo that said there were only 3 episodes left......2, at this point which puts it right at the 22nd. How depressing!![]()
"...each affects the other, and the other affects the next, and the world is full of stories, but the stories are all one." - Mitch Albom, one helluva writer.
When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, you know which one you hit by the one that yelps!
I also have enjoyed the character-centric shows and definitely am going to miss this show. The one plus is that I won't have to switch to Parenthood during commercials, as I have been doing since PP switched to Tuesday nights. I don't have a DVR and never seem to get around to watching Parenthood on Hulu or ABC.com.
Ah, for some reason, I thought the finale was the week of the 17th. My bad. Who else is left for their own episode before Addison's?
Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.' - Isaac Asimov
I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "... I drank what?"
I thought Addison had her own episode. There was one where she was getting all smart and using good judgment. Remember that her boyfriend threatened his stepdaughter's older boyfriend and the social worker heard about it? Addison forgave Jake instead of blowing up and running away. She said everything is going to be okay. Very mature of her. I thought that was her episode.
I see that the adoption issue is coming back up in the previews. I'm not sure I can bare to watch it.
I guess we'll get to see this week. I'm still not sure I can take an episode about the uncertainty of the adoption. How many of these storylines must viewers have to watch? I'm not sure if I have ever seen a tv adoption without a contest of the adoption. It's always something. Soooooo overdone. I guess it's just too tempting for a writer to resist, but wouldn't you think that some writer would eventually say, hey, that's been done about a million times. Let's not go there again. Let's get original. No such luck. lol
That's the business that they are in! Drama!

Loved Charlotte and Coop having all their girls and getting the house. I will miss this show.
