    Re: Damages on FX

Ah, I wondered if anyone else was watching this outstanding show. The season opener was as gripping as I had anticipated. When actors of the caliber of Glenn Close, Ted Danson, William Hurt, and Marcia Gay Harden agree to do a television series, you know you're going to get something special.

I love seeing Glenn Close and William Hurt working together again and sure wouldn't mind seeing more of "The Big Chill" cast members making appearances, even in guest roles.

Are you aware that when this show was reupped for a second season, they went ahead & added a third? I haven't heard which if any of the cast will be included, but I certainly hope Glenn Close sticks around. She is delightfully evil.

Yes, I was happily aware of that, razorbacker. Of course, the networks can change their minds anytime, but I'm hopeful they'll stick to the deal. There are only a handful of really good shows and this one is among my top choices.

Oh I'm still loving this show! Enough mysteries to keep me coming back every single week

I just started season 1 and it's exhilarating. I hope I can finish both seasons before the third season starts Jan 25

OMG I just saw the first bit of Season 2 episode 1! I can't wait to find out who Ellen is holding at gunpoint. It looks like Patty but we haven't met all of the players yet so it's too soon to tell.
    This show is fantastic.

ok I'm watching episode 6 season 2 right now. Holy cow, it just gets better every show. Patty Hewes is just hateful. I guess it's a testament to Glenn Close just how much I hate the woman.
I knew that Wes guy was with the bad guys. So now I know that Frobisher is still alive, Michael is Purcell's son, everyone is crooked and working with an agenda.
William Hurt looks like Terry Bradshaw.
Katie is bad news, I think she's still in this up to her eyebrows.

As much as I want Ellen to have shot Patty in her hotel room I'm thinking it's Frobisher, "Uncle Pete", Wes or the detective with the beard and glasses. LOL not a very narrow list and I'm probably still wrong.

As much as I love Damages, I honestly felt Season 2 was no where near as good as Season 1. But in all fairness Season 1 was SO GOOD it had to be difficult to stay on that level. I'm going to give Season 3 a chance.

muahahaha! episode 8 and now I know that Patty is in that room with Ellen... but is that who she shoots? hehe so hard to tell with this show there are so many twists and turns.
Marlena you're right season 2 isn't as riviting as season 1 but I think that it's because we know what to expect and that's when they are doing what you expect you're probably wrong LOL
My husband has the same complaint about the Saw movies. He said the first one was brilliant but each sequel just added new devices.

I was afraid the detective with the gun was going to hand that bunny back to the guru with a broken neck or something- he's just that mean.

Tomorrow for ep 9 and 10, can't wait!

Did anyone watch last night's season premiere? It looks as if this might be the best season so far. Great new cast members such as Len Cariou, Martin Short, Lily Tomling, Campbell Scott, Reiko Aylesworth.

I watched it twice through, and they aired the episode without commercials.
