Re: Chuck on NBC

I liked this show from its first episode; it's rapidly becoming my favorite new show.

I decided to take a look at it because it was going to give me some "Jayne" in a leading role -- a good enough reason for me to check it out, and Adam Baldwin does not disappoint.

The characters are quirky and fun and you know who they are. The show manages to combine wit, drama, action, nostalgia (using spoken Klingon as a code!), and sentiment and entertains while doing it. As someone mentioned above, the supporting characters at Buy More are not just there; they really add to the show.

Well done! I may wind up buying this one.

This show never fails to crack me up. Last nights favorite quote, Chuck to Bryce, "Sarah and Casey are right inside. One girlish scream from me and they'll kick into combat mode."

Re: Chuck on NBC

I really like this show...it's quirky and fun. And I really like the supporting characters and now that DWTS is over I can watch the original airing and not depend on replays later in the week or on the computer.

Re: Chuck on NBC

NBC has ordered nine more episodes of Chuck, meaning it has been picked up for the full season. Yay!
I, for one, am glad that Bryce left this episode. He can reappear now and then but I don't want him around on a permanent basis.

I laughed out loud during that exchange!!
I love this show. I think it is the fact that they can take the silliest idea (Pineapple!) and just competely commit to it.

Re: Chuck on NBC

Their commitment to the quirkiness without going overboard is what totally helps make this show so adorable. I think they've done a great job with casting and the supporting characters are fantastic too.

Re: Chuck on NBC

Chuck was totally channeling the Jim Halpert facial expressions tonight. Serious Jim Halpert facial expressions.

So sad that it was the last one till next semester.

Next semester?

Last night's episode was a corker. Chuck's quoting of Wesley Snipes from Passenger 57 had me laughing hysterically. I enjoyed Morgan's meeting Anna's parents as well.

Re: Chuck on NBC

I'm hoping they don't wait too long to get Chuck and Sarah back to touchy-feelie friendly friction instead of the awkward formal chill surrounding them at present.

I'm irked that they felt the need to destroy Casey's car seeing as he derived such pleasure from her company. Wish Tang would reappear as well.
