    Re: Greek

I really like a lot of the characters on this show, particularly Cappie and Dale (both add the comedy and take it to a new level). I could really care less about Casey (why does everyone like her?) but I adore Ashley! Rebecca is a pretty believable character and I appreciate the authenticity...although I am not sure if she fits a classic villian mold (do we hate her or love to her her? or is she really a good person?...jury still out). Frannie goes beyond the villian character and I think the writers have taken too many liberties with her (one second she is good, next the epitome of evil, leaves campus in complete disgrace, then whoa...back again & sucking up to Casey, then with Evan and semi-evil, and now back to wench)...really?

Oh, I almost forgot about Calvin, I love his character!

Haha Mindy! I do agree with a lot of your character analysis. Casey and Rusty are probably my least favorite characters on the show. It's weird because they are technically the "main characters" of the show. The supporting characters are the reason I watch the show. Cappie is probably my favorite, Rebecca #2 favorite. With Dale and Calvin closely behind. However, I don't think that my liking the supporting characters over the main characters is anything new to me, especially when it come to "teen/college shows." For example, I watched Dawson's Creek when it was on and I despised the character of Dawson. I didn't despise Buffy from BTVS but I far more preferred the characters of Willow, Xander, and Oz.

I love that you watched Buffy! That is by far my all-time favorite show...Buffy kicked butt and I loved the entire cast!

I think a lot of people are on the same boat as us, and don't really care that much for Cassey and Rusty...its funny because it is like they are there (for me/us) to porpel the storylines of everyone else (hahaha). And even though I can't peg Rebecca yet, I don't dislike her, I am just waiting for some clear direction as to who she really is (but I think, when all is said and done, that I am going to like her, if that makes any sense).

I wish they would explore Dale and Calvin more, the very first episode of Greek had my husband and I rolling on the floor laughing (Calvin at the Jewish sorority house, Dale with his decorations (confederate flag) in the dorm room).

Okay I don't remember the Jewish sorority house and Calvin scene (might have to find the episode somewhere onlinea and re-watch it??) but definitely remember Dale and his decorations. His character has progressed nicely over the series' run, giving in a little bit here and there but mostly staying true to his conservative roots. LOVE the slightly obsessive crush he has on Casey heehee. Very happy that the boys will be living together again. I didn't like Rebecca in the beginning but once she started dating Cappie, I enjoyed seeing the softer side of her. The episode where Cappie was sick and she was trying her best to "nurse" him back to health and dealing with the "ghost" of Casey's perfect nursing of sick Cappie was one of my personal favorites.

Yes I was/still am a Buffy fanatic! To clarify, I liked the character of Buffy but the supporting cast definitely carried the show for me. I loved that the show was about more than fighting vampires (and other supernatural beings)the relationship issues, friend issues, personal storylines for the characters beyond just Buffy.

Tonight was a good episode. It really seems like Evan may never come back from the dark side...

Three cheers for Calvin being an awesome friend (I love his character).

I hope we see Cappie get an awesome girlfriend this season-I don't care who it is as long as he is happy!

I was pretty happy with tonight's episode. I loved the IKI/ZBZ storyline. Got to admit the look on Frannie's face and the "hair pat" when she realized that Casey had "the Titanic brush" was priceless.

I hope Cappie gets a girlfriend this season too. Would really like him and Rebecca back together but realize that the idea of Cappie dating another girl and Rebecca and Casey bonding over possible jealousy would make for good plot hi-jinks.

Calvin was an awesome friend and I think he's starting to realize the evilness that is Evan and WHY Rusty can't stand him.

So what have you all thought about this season so far? And more importantly, did you see last week's episode? BIG THINGS are happening for one of my favorite couples. I don't want to spoil anything, but it would definitely be worth tuning in for the midseason finale next Monday.

And also, ABC Fam put out an awesome rap video recapping the season in an ode to Cyprus Rhodes. It's very catchy!!

ABC Family: Greek the "greek" rap

"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

I LOVE LOVE LOVE what's going on right now! I am actually pretty thrilled with the "couples" directions on ALL the characters.

I missed Monday's show. Anyone willing to put in spoiler brackets what happened with the couples?

    Sure! Here you go!
Casey, Evan, and Rebecca ended up at the KT house and had "dinner" with the remaining KT's, Cappie was one of them. Earlier in the episode, Casey and Rusty talked about how it was tradition in the Cartwright family for Casey and Rusty to make a wish on the wishbone. The "turkey" that the KT Turkey Trot was really Wild Turkey, the bourbon. Sooo, instead of a wishbone, they had a wishpretzel. Casey won it and as she got up to leave, Cappie said he'd walk her home. Once inside the ZBZ house, Cappie kept making excuses, "nightcap," "big scary house," and he started stammering trying to get out what he wanted to say to her. She said something about how she poured her heart out to him at the end of the world party and he was like i know i am sorry, but i am here now. She was like what do you want Cappie? and he leaned in and kissed her and said something to the lines of i want another chance/want to be with you again and she said she wanted that too and they went back to kissing.

The other "couple" is not really a couple but I see a little spark between Rebecca and Evan. I've noticed it the past few episodes and even though Rebecca can be appalling at times, I like her character. I feel the same way about Evan. Now granted the fact that Evan cheated on Casey with her AND Cappie and Rebecca dated might be weird, but hey, this is tv...almost every show has every person date/sleep with the other characters at some point in time.
