I saw this, too. It's amazing on HD widescreen TV. Although everytime I see the title, I keep thinking of that old Duran Duran song "Planet Earth"...

Lois

I'm enthralled with this. Watched the ice one today. So sad about the polar bear. What an amazing swimmer.

We recently purchased a new plasma TV, so the HD is AMAZING to see!!

It's a fascinating series.

I know...

I know what you mean about watching it on a plasma in HD...it is just freaking amazing and makes me (almost) forget the cost of the TV and how much extra we're paying for HD cable!

This series is simply stunning...I just can't believe they were able to get all these amazing shots...It really is a work of art...

Re: Planet Earth

This is a wonderful show! I generally don't watch that type of show. However, Oprah mentioned it so I tuned in and now I can't miss it. I'm just glued to the tv when it is on. Great show!

I really enjoy Sigourney Weaver's narration as well. It's so soothing, but not boring... I love this!

Re: Planet Earth

yes, his narration is enjoyable. Actually, everything about this show is amazing! I can't get enough. Did yall catch the ants with fungus this past Sunday? gosh it was terrifying looking -- so interesting and amazing how nature interacts.

And yes it is amazing on HD -- unbelieveable. I can't wait for next week.
