I wonder if Diva Vanessa Williams is put out and had a Beyonce moment that she wasn't mentioned by name.

Eek. Holy bad stage direction, Batman! Another star made to look like a dumbass just standing around.

That was pretty bizarre.

I think Prince tried to pull his same old "I'm going to show up late to make an entrance" ploy just like he did on American Idol last season... only he blew it. Stuck in traffic.. yeah, right.

Best Original song - Beyonce, with her 4th credit which won't win her an Oscar no matter what, is denied her chance on an award here, and loses to HAPPY FEET. Heh. Prince apparently wrote the annoying song and didn't even bother to show up. Justin Timber-fake just stood there like an idiot waiting for his Royal Highness. Maybe little moments like that can squeeze some small enjoyment out of the rest of this (heck, I'd be watching "24" now like everyone else, but I was out last night and haven't yet watched the recording of the FIRST two episodes).
Prince was apparently stuck in traffic, lol! He was there as of the presentation for best musical score .

He was there earlier. They showed him long before that, covering up a camera lens during a commercial break tease. I think it was him doing that which necessitated the director to tell the talent to acknowledge he was there.

Frankly, I still think he was there the whole time and either enjoying himself in a bathroom, or lurking outside to make an entrance.

Lifetime Yawnchievement Award. Why the heck have Tom Hanks introduce a Warren Beatty award as opposed to one of Beatty's many contemporaries?

I'm voting for Vanessa Williams as Worst Dressed. The hair, the dress, the makeup, the fur =

But what have you done in the last decade, War?

And frankly, the 80s and 90s weren't that crowded either. 2 films in the 80s and 3 in the 90s.

I've always thought of Beatty as an overrated hack. This hasn't done anything to change that.

Did someone smear Vaseline on Sienna Miller's face?

(Loved Streep's speech. That's all!)

Only saving grace of this life time thing is hearing Sondheim. LOL, even if it is Madonna singing it.
