| Chuckie Sheen-Estevez introduces Es-millio's endeavor, "Bobby". A film I think people forgot about a month after it was out, despite the subject matter. 40 Year Old Virgin introduces the new "Best Animated" award. I'm not sure I agree it should be in its own category. It seems like a ghetto to me. Animated fims HAVE been nominated and won best picture awards and now that's not even a possibility anymore. Best actress, musical or comedy film: Beyonce gets her ass beat by M. Streep. GOOD. Lets see her try and act happy for Jennifer now... if she succeeds in fooling anyone, maybe she IS a good actress. She was so outclassed in this category anyway, so I suppose she must have been prepared. The funny thing is, Streep won for a pretty over the top performance in a pretty crappy film. I actually expected one of the others to win.

| He's mine! | J. Hud winning scared me, i don't want beyonce winning for lead actress. Her head would never go back to it's normal size. I saw Gillian Anderson on the red carpet. Love her! eta: Meryl took that one so i'm relieved. Quote:

| Ben Stiller badly introduces "Borat", the surprise nominee of the season. Which will almost definitely lose, but I am still SO damn shocked its nominated. Ver-a nice! ![]() Yawn. Time for boring awards. Miniseries? Does anyone even watch them anymore? Oh. TV movies too. Double yawn. Best supporting actor in a film: Affleck, Murphy, Nicholson, Pitt-boy, Wahlberg. Eddie Murphy wins. I actually did not think he would. Another slap to Beyonce! I actually thought his recent baby scandal would interfere with voting. Eddie forgets to thank his co-stars, if I was listening correctly.

I used to me a fan of the early Destiny's Child, but Beyonce makes it so difficult for me to root for her. Eddie Murphy just won for Dreamgirls. | ||

| Wait. Was that just Prince who put his hand over the camera lens during the commercial tease? Didn't he miss showing up for an award before, thus leading to Justin Timberlake standing around and looking like an idiot? So let me get this straight. A crappy film like "The Devil Wears Prada" was nominated for ALL of these awards? And is winning them? Oh. That's why Gillian Anderson is there. Who knew she was even working? I guess I should watch more Dickens adoptions. ![]()

| Or in the rest room, with a girl, or something else recreational. I mean what's the deal with putting your hand over a camera lens, like its the paparazzi and not a legitimate part of the show you are appearing on? The man is just WEIRD. Not Michael Jackson weird, but out there.
