Do you think those are Stefano's hands in the leather gloves, giving the lie detector guy the $$$ and picking up EJ's discarded gloves??? And why would he want EJ's gloves?

Well as the writing team that won the Daytime Emmy for Days this year no longer works for the show this could be the other writers stories emerging. That is why I was trying to figure out when the old writers stories and new writers stories were going to merge and shift.

I believe we're seeing the new writing team now and from what I understand, they also took some of the old writings and re-edited them to direct the s/ls towards the stories they were writiing.

I absolutely think it is Stefano that gave the money. But then I started thinking maybe Will, but where would he get that kind of money.

Well, whoever it is, it's pretty apparent that the guy who planted the black gloves is not Stefano because his midsection looks very slender --- as opposed to the portly Stefano.

I am thinking it could be Ian as he is supposedly leaving the show soon.

Hmmmm, interesting theory, JLuvs. What do you suppose would be Ian's reason for planting evidence against EJ? And, do you think Ian had anything to do with Stefano's alleged murder? (Cause we all kind of 'know' that Stefano isn't really dead, right?)

My guess would be that he is trying to hurt Kate as she still loves Stefano and by extension cares for EJ. That is also why I believe he is going after Brady, to get back at both Kate and his ex.

I think it is Stefano up to no good as usual, with the payoff....but when hiding the gloves, I agree, that wasn't Stefano's body...besides being more slender, he also moved in a more energetic way.
I'm still confused as to what's up with EJ's old gloves....I know he wore them the night Stefano was killed (?) but why throw them away?
My memory can be bad at times....did EJ shoot his gun that night and then there would be gunpowder on them....that's why they were tossed???
And how did our mystery man know that the police got the search warrant, allowing him to plant the gloves?? And I'm surprised anyone looked behind the painting. Why would mystery man put them there, if he really wanted them found?

I can't answer all the questions but EJ did shoot a gun while wearing the gloves. If the person is trying to hide like a Dimera the hiding place for the gloves works as it is so unlikely and probably a place that wouldn't be checked. Maybe Ian is working for Stefano.
