yeah the jater/skater thing has been going on for a while now.

as i was watching last night, i was thinking about something. on the island, in all of the closeups of jacks face, he has gray mixed with brown stubble. but we see him off the island presumably a few years later, his beard is fully brown with no gray whatsoever.

its probably just a continuity error with the fake beard and matt fox's real facial hair, but all the closeups on his face throughout the episode made it hard not to notice, for me.

That big fake beard of Jacks sure is distracting. I hope he doesn't keep it long in the new season.

Were it not for the whole oxycodone-induced fog, I'd have thought that Jack headed straight for the "Grecian Formula for Beards" display at Rite-Aid as soon as he hit L.A.

    Yes that was Ben narrating.

    Re: Lost - season three

I really enjoyed last night's 2-hour special. I wasn't able to watch last year due to a scheduling conflict so now I feel like I'm up to date a little on what I missed. Did I get from Hurley's flash forward that only 6 were rescued? I'm a little confused by that. Do we know who other than Hurley, Jack, and Kate?

I've read synopsis for Episodes 1 and 2, but I am stopping after that (avoid DarkUFO's blog if you dont like spoilers). But, the first 2 episodes sound awesome and action-packed.
I will include 1 spoilery bit about tomorrow though.

Hurley finds Jacob's cabin, where we learn the true identity of Jacob, as far as we know.

so without further ado... season 4 thread?
I wish I could tranfer this to the season 4 thread as that's what it's about... I sure didn't feel I learned Jacob's true identity....I sort of saw that someone was in the chair, but certainly not clearly enough to identify him. (It is safe to read the spoiler above if you already saw last night's show.)
