I was just thinking that. Here's a rundown:
Michelle Rodriguez: arrested for DUI- Anna-Lucia: Killed weeks later
Cynthia Watros: arrested for DUI- Libby: Killed approx a month later
Daniel Dae Kim: arrested for DUI- Let's see how long it takes for Jin to be killed off.
Hurley: (holding up a Jesus statue) I don't know. I thought there might be a prowler or something.

    Don't forget Eko.
Though they swear their deaths had nothing to do with their DUIs. Hmmm.

Perhaps the DUIs were BECAUSE they learned they were being killed off, and they just didn't care anymore? Ha.

Lost Curse Strikes Again! Kim Dinged for DUI
    by Gina Serpe

It seems there really may be something in the water over on the Lost set: Alcohol.

Daniel Dae Kim says he is "deeply ashamed and embarrassed" after becoming the third castmember to get busted on suspicion of driving under the influence, following his arrest in Honolulu just after 3 a.m. Thursday.

Honolulu police confirm to E! News that the 39-year-old was stopped by police after being spotted driving erratically. He registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.168, twice the legal limit.

Kim, who plays Jin-Soo Kwon on the ABC hit, was booked at the downtown station and released at 5:05 a.m. after posting an unspecified bail. Kim is due to appear in Oahu District Court on Nov. 23.

The actor was spotted by reporters wearing a polo shirt, khaki shorts and longer than normal hair when he left the station. He kept his head down and stayed mum, escorted out of the building by two officers into the passenger's side of a waiting SUV.

On Friday, Kim issued a public mea culpa and vowed to "cooperate fully" with the authorities.

"I am deeply ashamed and embarrassed by the events of Thursday morning. It saddens me to know that I jeopardized the welfare of the kind people of Hawaii, a community that I love and call my home. It is my intention to cooperate fully with the police and I am grateful to them for their sensitivity throughout this matter," he said in a statement issued by publicist Cindy Guagenti.

"To my friends, family, colleagues and fans, thank you for your kind words of support. To those I have disappointed, I can only ask that you accept my heartfelt apologies."

There was no immediate comment from ABC or show producers.

Kim's early morning bust is the third such indiscretion for the Lost cast and one of several other driving-related mishaps. And if history is any indication of how the show's rap-sheeted actors are dealt with, Jin may want to watch his back come season four.

In December 2005, the Hawaii Five-O snagged a twofer, busting then Losties Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros on separate DUIs on the same highway within 15 minutes of each other. Both pleaded guilty to charges of driving under the influence, with Rodriguez even serving a brief jail stint for the offense. Both actresses met their demise by season's end.

Less than a year later, in September 2006, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje was arrested on charges of driving without a license and disobeying an officer. The former charge was eventually dismissed. But soon after, his character, Mr. Eko, found himself on the losing end of a battle with the show's smoke monster.

Not all Lost cast troubles have to do with transgressions, however. In 2005, Josh Holloway and his wife were robbed at gunpoint in their Honolulu home. Last December, Evangeline Lilly's rented Kailua abode was destroyed in an electrical fire. They both remain on the show.

    From Jorge's Blog

I just flew into LA on Friday for some press stuff. Mostly international press. Did a panel with Naveen and Elizabeth. Harold also joined us for individual roundtable interviews.

This is the juiciest peice of information we gave them: As shocking as these scripts have been for us nothing has shocked us more than the end of episode 7.

Not good...Ausiello on Lost, Buffy, Heroes, ER and More! - Ask Ausiello | TVGuide.com

Question: What does the strike mean for Lost? Any idea how many episodes they finished pre-strike? Is it still scheduled to air some time in February? — Mike

Ausiello: Why do I suddenly feel as if I'm talking to myself, Mike? Why do I also suddenly feel like I'm not going to like what I have to say? At least I know the answer to that second part — it's because I don't like what I have to say. If the strike extends into the new year and beyond, there is a chance ABC may opt to delay the new season until the fall. Or worse yet, February 2009. Another scenario has the network simply airing the eight episodes already in the can this February as originally planned — something Team Darlton would not be in favor of. Says Lost cocreator Carlton Cuse, "Damon [Lindelof] and my concern about running the [eight] episodes we will have made is that it will feel a little like reading half a Harry Potter novel, then having to put it down. There is a mini cliff-hanger at the end of Episode 8, but it's like the end of an exciting book chapter; it's not the end of the novel. Damon and I didn't write [the ending of Episode 8] differently [with the looming strike in mind]. We wrote it to be the ending of Episode 8." In any case, he concedes that the decision to hold or air the episodes isn't ultimately theirs. "It's really [ABC honcho Steve MacPherson's] call," Cuse notes, adding, "No one was happy with the six-episode run last season."

NOOOO! Don't make us wait that long! As far as all these stories of castmember troubles: Adewale getting arrested for driving without a license, Watros, Rodriguez and Kim all being arrested for DUI, Holloway and his wife being robbed at gunpoint, and Lilly's house being destroyed by electrical fire, some superstisious (sp?) folks would say that there's a curse on the show. I mean it certainly sounds like it. Did anything happen with Dominic before his character died? What about Nikki and Paulo and Arnst? I really hope they don't make us wait until the fall or worse yet another YEAR!

My son, who is the bigger Lost fan between us, about went into orbit when I read to him about possibly delaying the start of the show!

He's already worrying about what he's going to do when it goes off the air permanently!!!
