If I remember correctly, the news article made some mention of the deceased having a teenage son. I thought that referred to Walt, but maybe they have decided to make the deceased someone other then Michael. ??

Exclusive: Lost Rescues Denis Leary's TV Wife!

Is Rescue Me's Tommy Gavin about to suffer yet another personal tragedy? Reliable sources close to Lost confirm to me exclusively that Andrea Roth — aka Denis Leary's long-suffering spouse on Rescue Me — is joining the cast in a recurring role. Details about her character are being kept under wraps, but a recent Lost casting notice went out for a female character in her mid 30s described as "a tough, no-nonsense and beautiful" therapist who has a tendancy to be "overly controlling and obsessive." Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

Although I haven't been able to confirm the exact number of Lost episodes Roth will appear in, I imagine she'll be able fulfill her committment and still return to Rescue Me — that is, if there is a Rescue Me to return to. FX hasn't officially renewed the show for a fifth season. Assuming that it will be back, production will likely resume in early '08 — which would leave Roth plenty of time to squeeze in a juicy little arc on Lost.

Photo from the current edition of TV Guide:

Posted on other boards mention that that is Sawyer behind the bald guy....others have wondered if that is a hatch that is in front of Juliet? They've also wondered if that is the cockpit for Flight 815...didn't the cockpit fall out of the tree in Season 1 after the black smoke got the pilot?

These next 2 I had to scan (and its a crappy scanner)...I apologize for them being huge but in order for you to read/view them I couldn't get them any other way...

    Watch with Kristin on e!online

Wendell in Miami: The "radio silence" is killing me! Do you have anything at all to report on Lost?

That makes two of us! I can only tell you that Robin Weigert, who plays Juliet's cancer-kickin' (or did she?) sister, Rachel, has a gut feeling she's going to be back on the show. Robin told me during a visit to her new show, Life, that although nothing has been set in stone: "I think that character will definitely be back at some point, as I think will all of the flashback characters, because there will inevitably be a point when people reconnect. We've seen a flash-forward which shows some folks have made it off the island, reconnect with their loved ones. Beyond that, I don't know."

Here's hoping we see her alive and well and with the little one!

Dominic in Milwaukee: How does the possible writer's strike effect Lost in February? Thanks!

The good news is that the Lost writers didn't take much of a break at all between seasons, and production started in July as usual, despite the delayed season-premiere launch date. So, if the strike does go down, Lost might be one of the few shows we'll still be seeing after the other series' eps run dry. It'll be that and the rebirth of sterling reality series like The Littlest Groom and Who's My Daddy? (If we don't have Lost, I might go work at Starbucks.)

'Lost' Actor Daniel Dae Kim Arrested
    Published: 10/25/07, 8:25 PM EDT

HONOLULU (AP) - Another actor on the hit TV series "Lost" was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving early Thursday by Honolulu police - the fourth actor on the ABC series to run into trouble with the law while filming in Hawaii.

Daniel Dae Kim, who plays Korean tough guy Jin-Soo Kwon, was taken into custody before 3 a.m. local time, police said. He was booked at the downtown police station and released after posting bail.

Wearing a solid-white polo shirt and shorts, Kim hid his head from cameras as he was escorted by police officers to a waiting vehicle after his release.

Other "Lost" stars facing problems with the police in Hawaii include Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros, whose characters were killed off in 2005 after they both were arrested and pleaded guilty to drunken driving.

Rodriguez, who played Ana Lucia, was sentenced to five days in jail and $357 in fines. Watros, who played Libby on the show, had her license suspended for 90 days and paid a $312 fine.

A year ago, Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje, the actor who played "Mr. Eko," was arrested for a traffic violation, also in the early morning hours, and accused of disobeying a police officer and driving without a license. The charges were dropped, but his character also was killed off.

Five other cast members working in Hawaii have been cited for traffic violations, mostly for speeding, according to police.

Earlier this month, Rodriguez was sentenced to six months in jail in Los Angeles for failing to complete community service and alcohol monitoring as part of her probation for previous drunken driving violations. She has been ordered to report to county jail on Christmas Eve.

Rodriguez had been on three years probation after pleading no contest to hit-and-run, driving on a suspended license and drunken driving in connection with two incidents in Hollywood in 2003.

Kim, 38, was born in Busan, South Korea, but grew up in Easton, Pa., and has a masters degree from New York University.

On the show, he portrayed a chauvinistic thug who at first was overly protective of his wife, Sun, but then began to warm up to other characters on the mysterious island where "Lost" is set. Trained in classical theater, he had to learn Korean for the role and then had to learn to practice speaking English with a Korean accent as his character learned to speak English.

In addition to work on several TV series before "Lost," he had small roles in "Spider-Man 2," "The Hulk" and "Crash."

thats what i was thinking to when i read it...well, technically anyone who got arrested by the HPD got killed off. ana lucia, libby, eko. the first 2 was DUI, eko by disorderly conduct and valid license which was later dropped. now another DUI by kim. i know there were many other cast members like sawyer and charlie who got ticketed for speeding...and charlie got axed off also. im not to sure if even michael got a speeding ticket and he got off the island.

and we do have high rates of DUI arrests and death caused by DUI here in hawaii. they really do crack down on DUI, speeding, any car infractions like recon, illegal tint, etc.

oh, if anyone wants to see a video of daniel coming out of the Honolulu police station early in the morning here it is:

'Lost' actor Daniel Dae Kim accused of DUI — video - The Honolulu Advertiser - Hawaii's Newspaper

either someone from the department leaked out the arrest or someone saw him being arrested called the media cause they were out there waiting for him.
not my frickin fault. fine, my fault, i always get blamed anyways.
